What do you hang them on?

I have mine hanging on a regular curtain rod. There's actually enough fold at the top for any size rod, even a shower rod.

I would like to cover a space 96 in wide how many would I need

Definitely order 3 of them. I have 2 of them hanging in front of my French doors (the opening is 64”) in my screen room one covering each door they look just as I expected they would not too full and not too sparse. And I have room to extend them if needed .... Only issue I have with them is if they are put into an area with traffic. They do get tangled although they are easily untangled but it is just an inconvenience
