Acne Control Gel

I have nothing but positive things to say about every CeraVe product I’ve ever used. This stuff works super well when you have a few pimples or a full blown breakout. Dried pimples up in a day or two without over drying your skin, but do be cautious. Only use when you need it and only until the breakout is gone. This is not an every day use product. It doesn’t hurt, despite being alcohol based on a sensitive area of the face. It’s got all the good stuff in it to fight the breakout while still working to restore your skins barrier and prevent future breakouts.

Quick acting product that doesn’t dry me out even using twice daily. No burning, no bad smell. Wish I tried soon. Note: only used on small spots here and there. Can’t vouch for cystic acne.

I’m in my mid 30s and struggle with hormonal acne. This product is perfect for spot treatment! I was not expecting a lot as not many products work for my highly sensitive skin. The gel is very light and gentle. You only need a very small amount. Can be sticky upon drying but nothing extreme. So I have noticed that this product will draw out the zit much faster than it would on its own. Instead of my zit not coming to a head and taking a week or more to subside, it comes to a head within 48 hours (for the most part) and subsides/clears much faster. So impressed with how it’s working and wanted to let other mid 30s women with hormonal acne know that it’s awesome! It will always be a staple for me now.

Hydrating Ingredients: The inclusion of ceramides and niacinamide helps maintain my skin barrier, leaving my skin feeling soft. Cons: Slow Results: While it slightly reduced some blemishes, it took weeks to see any noticeable improvement. It’s not ideal if you’re looking for faster results. Not Effective for Severe Acne: This product seems to work better for mild breakouts, but it didn’t do much for larger or more stubborn pimples. Price vs. Performance: For the cost, I expected better results. There are other products with similar ingredients at a lower price point. Final Thoughts: The CeraVe Acne Control Gel is a decent option if you have mild acne or want a gentle treatment to prevent breakouts. However, if you’re dealing with more persistent or severe acne, this may not be strong enough on its own. It’s good but not exceptional.

CeraVe gel leaves the skin feeling smooth because it very gently exfoliates and there lies its magic of not letting pores clogged up. I use it every day in the morning.

I received it like almost 2weeks maybe and only now I write the review to see the result. I have acne at my chin and I put this every morning and night. It slows down the acne gently and it's almost healed. I love this product that I ordered the other Cerave recommend to combine with this foe my oily face! What a lifesaver
