The TETON Sports Outfitter Camp Pad is an excellent addition to any large size camping cot. Mine is paired with the TETON Sports Outfitter XXL cot and it matches up exactly. It has hook and loop fasteners at the corners which hold the pad in place throughout the night allowing one to toss and turn without having to continually readjust the pad for comfort. Straight out of the box it did not have any noticeable odor and quickly laid flat without curled edges or grooves from the straps. I was able to get excellent sleep, far surpassing what is possible with a cot alone, and was kept warm throughout the night even in sub-freezing temperatures. It rolls back up easily at the end of the night, making the packing up process quick and easy. I was able to set up and tear down faster than anyone else in the camp. The camping pad is quite large, though not heavy, and would not be suitable for camps that require significant hiking to reach. However, for those camp sites within a short walk from a vehicle, it is well worth the cost and effort to get the type of rest that is welcomed after a long day of outdoor fun. I highly recommend this camping pad especially for use with larger cots as it make the experience enjoyable and comfortable whether in a tent or under the stars.

I recently used this for probably around 45 days straight. I took a trip from Florida to Oregon and back, 6,000 miles round-trip. I chose this specifically because I have two cats and didn't want to risk an inflatable mattress getting a hole in it. I needed cat proof! I have to say though that this was very comfortable. It's very well made and easy to roll up. The size when's it's all rolled up is very manageable. I slid this between the rollbar and rear window of my Jeep and it fit perfectly. I don't think the larger sizes would fit that spot though. Overall I highly recommend it if you want something comfortable, durable and don't mind the size of it.

This mattress is really comfortable. I've been sleeping on it nightly. I got it for my Coleman comfortSmart cot to replace the cheep mattress it came with. It was an exact fit. I'm now using it on a Ozark trails XL cot. It's just a little small but I don't even notice.

Super fast delivery with Prime! Ordered late Sunday evening, arrived early Wednesday morning... just in time for camping this weekend. This pad is more than I could have hoped for. It is thoughtfully designed, exceptionally well made, and extremely durable. The cover is removable for washing, if necessary, (I haven't needed to do that as yet) and the XXL pad is large enough (width and length) for a big guy like me (6 foot, 300lbs). It's comfortable enough to use right on the ground or floor and even has a built-in pillow pouch to keep your head-rest from wandering off in the middle of the night. The pad rolls up easily with a sturdy, but light, built-in roller bar and has rugged tie-down straps and carry handle sewn into the cover. The company must have some Eagle Scouts working on their team, or at least enough frustrated, sleep-deprived campers who wanted to build a better mousetrap... because they've done it marvelously with this unit. This is one heavy-duty sleeping pad intended for drive-in camping (definitely not for backpacking). Once the XXL cot arrives (which this pad cleverly attaches to with bungee loops at each of the corners) I have no doubt the combo will be even more impressive; both out in the bush or when an extra bed is needed in our small home. This is a definite WINNER!
