I've been looking for a small magnetic bowl for needlework tools (needles, clips, etc) and this is perfect. (Scissors are too big to fit in the bowl, but I can lay them across the top and they still hold pretty well.) It fits on the base of my desk task lamp with room to spare. Strong magnet.

These are great to help prevent losing small screws while working on a project. I have 2 of them stuck to one of the vertical posts of my 4-post lift and they secure the screws without any issue and conveniently hold them within close reach.
