This thermometer works great and was this very accurate right out of the box. You can also adjust the thermometer setting on the back so it's more accurate, if needed. It's easy to read, I like the color combinations of the face, and appreciate the quality. If ever needed, I would definitely not hesitate to buy this again.

Got it out of the box and the temp was way off. On the back you can grab the mechanism for the temperature assembly (round plastic in the middle) and turn it to set the temperature. Don't know if this is the way it's supposed to be or mine wasn't glued in but just know you can try that if it doesn't read right.. never had to "set" an outdoor thermometer, lol.. other wise it's just as promised and seems to work well..haven't had enough time to judge the accuracy of the humidity Guage but the temp seems good to go...

Easy to read. Temperature is within a degree or so according to my instant read thermometer. lower temps seem high, higher temps seem low, so I'll wait a bit to try adjusting. Slip of paper packed with it say to call customer service, but no contact info there or on the internet. It's pretty close anyway. Otherwise easy to mount with a small screw anchor (NOT included)

I wanted an outdoor thermometer that Icould easily read from inside my house. I like the simplicity of the dial.

Very happy with my purchase, easy set up no batteries needed. large easy to read numbers. Humidity meter also easy to read. I bought it for my guinea pigs. I hung it with an airy spacer between their habitat and the thermometer so I can get a good reading I can see if the room is getting too hot or too cold or if the humidity is rising. Not expensive at all

I checked accuracy of this thermometer against the thermometer on my HVAC thermostat, which is hanging just 4 feet away from where I mounted this new thermometer. My HVAC thermostat has been proven accurate by several HVAC technicians when the unit is serviced twice a year. I've seen temp variations on this new thermometer of 8 to 10 degrees from my HVAC thermostat. I've tried calibrating the new thermometer but it doesn't seem to help as it is just not consistent.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Big & easy to read... Hung in my attic near to powered roof vent to see IF the fan was coming on at the correct temp (79*). It let me document that both of my fans stopped working even though the temperature was still above 80* even at 3AM. These are solar and 12v powered fans. They would only run on the solar power. Both fans worked correctly when installed October 2024 as part of a new roof. It took me SIX weeks proving the fans failures. With out this thermometer I would have been up a creek proving the fans would only run on solar power.

Those are the job as far as telling the temperature, but it is a lightweight, flimsy. A good wind could blow it off. It’s mounting.

easy to read from outside vary accurate

This thermometer / hygrometer looks great on my dark green steel siding and it is easy to read from a distance. The accuracy is not bad, the temperature is accurate within plus or minus a couple of degrees and the humidity about plus or minus 3 percent. Overall it is a good instrument for the money.

I'M OLD, WEATHERVANES ARE SHOW IN A LANGUABE I'M USE TO AT 81 YRS OLD. I KNOW ITS GOOD CAUSE I LIKE IT.

Returned not at all accurate.

Does what it's supposed to, which makes it a pretty solid product. Price wasn't too bad either
