X~PWR H9 All-Weather External Power Kit for GoPro HERO9, HERO10, HERO11 or HERO12 with 66" Cable

I ordered the product to use it in fishing competitions in Romania, where I need the GoPro to record for 8 hours straight and also to be at least splash resistant. This was the perfect product to achieve that but the problem was that I am located in a different continent with a lot of taxes and procedures to import a product and then with some bad postal services in Romania... So I contacted the seller witch was very nice and happy to help so that I get it in time for my next competition. I wanted to have the product in less then 30 days and actually had it delivered at my house in 8 days from my order. The product was as expected with great manufacturing quality and the seller is the best I ever encounter so far. Highly recommend the product and seller!!!

GoPro thumbscrew hits underside of case. This makes it difficult to screw-in AND the camera is off kilter, not level as thumbscrew pushes up from underneath the case where it touches. Also the camera cannot be fully secure as the thumbscrew cannot seat all the way in. Thus camera a bit loose. I am using GoPro Hero 10, with its foldable legs down in the attach position. UPDATE 8/11/2022 Seller/Manufacturer has developed a longer GoPro attachment screw. This solves the issue and no longer does the GoPro screw-turning device touch the casing. Now great design, sturdy well fitting metal case and would be 5 stars if totally waterproof housing. But the 3BR-Powersports case protects GoPro while connected to external power source from rain or seawater splash while fishing on the kayak.

I got this because I will be filming an hour sports game outdoors on GoPro 9. There will be rain. This is the solution as it runs on USB so no battery heating problems if you are recording long periods at a time. Being able to connect to a weatherproof (not waterproof) option means I can set the camera up and not worry about the weather and let it just capture the game.

I used this X~PWR H9 all weather housing for my GoPro Hero9 on my moto tour of Peru. The housing worked great with my helmet mount. It fit my Hero9 perfectly and I used an external power source instead of changing batteries during rides. I would recommend this housing for your GoPro for filming outdoors in the weather. This is not some cheap plastic housing from China. Money well spent!!!!

I've been using this for a better part of a year now on my fishing boat for inclimate weather and works great! Don is very helpful and will answer any questions same day or next day. As far as thumbscrew getting in the way, not with anything I've used, not sure what thumbscrew the other person is having problems with. The stainless screw that closes the door on this unit does need to be lined up as to not cross thread it, there is some care that is required in screwing it, other than that, going to order a second one.

Does exactly what is promised. Very well made.
