Royal Pacific 9304BK 12-Volt White LED Address Light

I have for years bought the westek low voltage light fixture....but our problem is that while the light itself lasted forever, the white plastic would yellow in the sun and only last a couple of years. This time I saw this Royal Pacific light being LED and I said "Great! LED's last forever and I like the bluish-white light as it will look better against out gray house, as opposed to the warm light of the westek bulbs. I knew it did not come with the numbers, but over the years I had extra vinyl numbers from the old westeks, so I bought this LED one. I applied the vinyl numbers, installed it, and it looked great....for a week. Then one of the two bulbs died. Then the other bulb went very dim. I sent it back for a refund and ordered ANOTHER one. This second one, the same thing...the first bulb died in 2 days and the other one is almost out. I checked to see if I could buy replacement LED bulbs for it, but Royal Pacific has no website or customer service. Also, in less then one month the white plastic has yellowed. I've learned my lesson and will buy one that is not LED and does not have a plastic lens. And yes, I have the proper transformer, 12volt, wired correctly. Even if the bulbs would last, the plastic will start yellowing within a few weeks and before long look almost brown. I haven't sent the second one back yet, but will, as I only bought it 9 days ago....just need to find a GOOD light fixture to replace it. I buy a lot from amazon and at least they are great about returns....I know my info says western NY but I now live in Florida and need to update that info. This light does not hold up to Florida Sun.

First of all, this product is actually a 16-volt AC light fixture. I confirmed this on the manufacturer's website before purchasing, and it also says it on the product after I received it. Not sure why the title says 12-volt. I measured my existing line at 16 volts AC (as I suspect most existing low voltage light fixtures are).This light fixture is a replacement for my old weathered light fixture. It's about half an inch taller than my old fixture but it still looks good. I knew the item didn't come with numbers, so I purchased those separately. It even came with super glue to glue on numbers. Installation was straight-forward. It didn't come with wire nuts, but I had a few extra laying around, so no big deal. The LED lights are plenty bright as well. Definitely recommend this as a replacement for worn address lights.

Brighter then standard bulb type address display. everything worked right out of the box.Follow up review after 6 months the white lens with the numbers turned yellower then the original that was 10 years old good thing I saved the old lens I put it back on and trashed the new one. Do not purchase this product I no longer recommend this product. It is just cheep crap.

Yes, 16 VAC is correct. Typical doorbell/chime transformer output.If LED bulb doesn't light, just pull it out and bend the pin wires a bit so they make contact with the connector.For around $10 I added a 120V dusk to dawn photocell before the transformer.Light color is between cool and warm. I think it's perfect.Light output is just right as well. Not too bright, not too dim.It was worth the money even with having to buy the individual raised plastic numbers. Glad the crazy glue was included.Cheers!

Buy this one. Stop buying the cheap bulb light's. These Led's shine really nice off of stucco. Added to my first custom home.

The product is simple and as described. Overall, well made. I liked the idea of LED vs incadescent bulb (long life, low power, etc) but the LED light color is an issue for me. It is far too 'cool white' and out of sync with other outdoor lighting I have. I will likely pull the LED bulbs and replace them with conventional warm white incadescent bulbs. Bummer.The glue on numbers were easy enough to install (sold separately), but were expensive (~$5 each), so if your address has 4 digits like mine has, you just doubled the cost of the address light. Included super glue was nice touch, absence of small gauge wire nuts less so.

Item has two LED bulbs, one bulb in the item I received is defective. I have tried to purchase a new bulb, can't find a replacement. Can see that one wire is missing on the bulb when compared to the bulb the works. This is second notice, have not heard from first inquiry.
