Ok so I have a aftermarket stereo double din and big speakers. I read yellow top was better for my use. Is this battery good too?

The Yellow Top might be better for your needs. Red Tops provide more cranking power. Yellow Tops provide more reserve if you listen to your stereo with the engine off. I had a Yellow Top in a car with an underdrive pulley on the alternator and a 1,200 watt system (RMS not that peak rating crap either) and that battery lasted through 5 years of torture.

Right now i have 2 yellow tops, 1 under the hood for engine, and 1 in the trunk for my sub. would i be better off putting a red top for engine/4eat?

From what I have been told---the Red top has higher initial cranking power and the yellow top has better storage capabilities---I have them on my trailers.

will it fit and work with my ford 150?

Most Fords have 65 group batteries in them some have 34 group all that don't matter what matters is what side the positive post is on. If the positive is on the right side then you will need a reverse post battery. I believe a 9020-164 has a reverse post. But for the battery box size these optimas are universal and will fit almost any battery box in the western hemisphere. So just take a peek at yours if the label is facing you and red on right then you have a reverse post, but if not then the standard 34/78 will fit perfectly. On the optima box it's self there is a packaging cover that comes will all optimas and. There is several adapters to make the 34/78 battery fit most cars and trucks.
