Exactly as pictured & does the job very well.
So far it’s quite durable. I’ve seen a lot of reviews of people having broke ones. Not sure why. Are your cuticles made of concrete? The set looks exactly as pictured. My cuticles are naturally awful as all hell, as if I was from a third world country and have never been exposed to self care before. After using this they actually look quite decent, for me having no single clue what in the hell im doing with this tool set. In fact, I’m still not sure I used them correctly, but my cuticles look better than before so I don’t care. They look (almost) professionally done. The scissors work quite well. Just apply a decent pressure, and it snips them right off. You don’t need a lot of pressure, but it just depends on how soft or dry each cuticle is. The sharp looking tool, the fat end in paticular, is also perfect for scratching off old nail polish. It definitely helps with shellac. I thought that would be stuck on me ‘til the day I died. Not with this tool. It scrapes it right off, like skin hitting pavement. I’m pretty sure I actually scraped off some of my actual nail, so be careful and gentle. (And if you make my mistake just buff out the nail as if nothing ever happened.) nobody shall ever know your shame. You can use the small side to clean the nasty dirt, that even God himself has no idea where it came from, under your nails. But only if you’re a pro. I pushed it too far back under one of my nails and it started to brutally bleed. On the bright side, now I’ll only have to paint half that nail with my blood red polish I was planning to use. And as a bonus you can also use it as a scratcher for lotto tickets or gift card codes. 10/10 would recommend to someone who’s never been exposed to nail care before, such as myself. (Would NOT recommend to any of my enemies. My nails need to be superior to theirs. The kind of nails that just scream ‘She can, and she WILL, slit your throat with those nails if she has too. And they will still look flawless.’

Everything you need for manicured nails
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Everything you need to prep your nails for the perfect manicure. I’ve had this for years and it still works as well as it did on day 1. Saves me so much money not going to the nail salon!

Nice and sharp -- these work well
I really like this cuticle trimmer set. I had a Revlon trimmer I bought at Walmart that had lasted me for years but I dropped it and the fall bent the tip of the nippers and rendered them useless. I decided it was time for a new pair. I looked all over Amazon and settled on this pair. I am really happy with them. They are very sharp, which is important to me b/c they don't just rip the cuticle. The double spring arm mechanism works well, and the nippers themselves are smaller than the Revlon ones I had so they are easier to get into the smallest crevices around my nails. The pusher was an added bonus and it works quite well. There is a spoon end for pushing the cuticle back and a sharpish angled edge for scraping away the cuticle. Overall, I'm quite happy with this purchase and the price was good -- cheaper than Walmart for a similar product.

Perfect! Six stars!
Perfect, just what I needed! I've never had a "real" manicure tool before. I used to use a dental tool that kind of had a cuticle pusher head, and used nail clippers. My entire life as long as I can remember (I'm 55 now), the base of my nail skin would crack, skin would grow too far down my nails, and then my skin would split farther up my fingers. Painful! I didn't realize that my actual cuticle area was so prone to soreness - just doing something like reaching into a jeans pocket would mildly hurt. I had just become accustomed to it.ONE working over with these tools, combined with Blue Star Cuticle Remover and wow, it's SO MUCH better! I should have done this decades ago.The cutters are sharp and perfectly aligned. The action is smooth and feels perfect. At first, I didn't think the pusher was going to be as good. Coming from using the wrong tool all along. The two ends are just what's needed to push cuticle and dead skin back, and scrape sideways to clear out further. Six stars!

How Important is the quality you are looking for?
I am happy with this purchase ... for the price. The tool to the right in the photo has a nice weight to it and does a nice job. The scissors are VERY small and lightweight in comparison. The cutting edge is of an 'okay' standard. If you want high quality, keep shopping.

Good, sharp and great price.
It’s a really good cuticle nipper, pretty sharp. I actually liked this one more than a few others I’ve bought at a higher price , so it’s a great one at a great price, the cuticle pusher isn’t as good as I hoped, isn’t sharp as I would personally like it to be able to push the cuticles but I sharpened it a bit and works well. I’m ordering a couple more sets today. By the way I realized I never sent my review so by now I actually ordered 2 more sets and I received them already. I’m happy with this buy

May be good for you, not so much for me
So far I am not loving the cutting with the clippers. Not sure if it is the design or what, but so far I am not too impressed.

Good buy... interlocking bits on nipper are perfect!
Excellent set! I love both pieces, this is the most important nail care set I have. The interlocking middle pieces on the nipper are key... they keep the bit that gives the nipper resistance from slipping. Sharp too... be careful not to cut yourself, nipping your cuticles isn't really that good for them but yeah I do it anyway. Neither is using a metal pusher (but they're sooo good) so just be gentle there too you renegade. The other side is good for sliding under homemade nail decals to lift them up and using around the cuticles before peeling up any latex cuticle tape so you don't pull up any parts of your design. I like to use these with Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover, it softens the cuticles so you don't have to push hard and the nippers work way better on soft cuticles after they've been pushed back.
