I bought this because I was having a really hard time getting my gel polish to stick. I have tricky nails and tried several products with no luck. With the stuff that I had my nails would start peeling hours after I had done them. I read many reviews and decided to give this a try. I am so glad that I did! My nail polish stays on so much longer now. It starts to peel about a week after polishing them but even then it’s very minimal. I am also very hard on my hands so I never expect polish to last as long as it says it will. I will say that the top coat is absolute garbage. It stinks like perm solution and it doesn’t stay for any amount of time. The top coat started peeling off after less than a day. But since this set was only $8 I bought it with the expectation that I was only going to use the base coat anyway. So all-in-all I am happy with my purchase, but if you’re looking for a good top coat I would recommend going to sally beauty and picking up some asp brand top coat instead. I will caution anyone who buys this to check the ingredients first as well, and then test it on one nail to begin with. Many people have complained about developing a sever allergy from using these products. I would also encourage anyone who does buy this and has an adverse reaction to go to your doctor as soon as possible to get a steroid treatment started right away. Everyone is different and this may not cause problems in most people, but it seems to cause severe issues in some individuals, as can be the case with any product. Coming from a former nail tech, please take precautions to avoid ruining your nails.

These work well and have lasted a very long time and I give myself manicures at least once or twice a month.

Both the base and top coat went on smooth and streak free. It cured quickly under a UV Lamp and is not chipping or flaking. Great shine! I used it with a solid gel polish as you see in the picture (excuse my nails they have had a rough few weeks 😂)
