Fine, quality product
Costly for socks, but I expect years of wear. Warm and thick enough for bounce. Simply put: nice.

I really appreciate that Fox RIver continues to innovate. I have been purchasing socks from them for the last 6 years and have seen many versions/ iterations. These are the best they have made to date. They are both super comfy (allowing me to wear my crappy boots that have no gortex liner) and durable. I wear these 5 days a week, 8-12 hours a day for years without any signs of wearing out. The first generation I tried back in 2010 were very tough with great arch support and some cushion. They are still in my sock drawer with no holes and literally thousands of hours of wear. The next iteration I tried in 2013 was super soft but had some durability issues that I reported to the manufacturer. This is even softer but with no durability issues that I saw before and still has good arch support and padded shins for the laces that have to be tucked. They keep my feet warm in Colorado and I had these on after being snowed in on base during a blizzard. My feet stayed warm while I dug the car out. If you need a present for the soldier/airman/marine in your life this is a winner. Just make sure the color is correct for their branch. PS. If you work outside in awful cold (-10°F) I would recommend thorlos excou extreme cold thick cushion which just get too hot if you spend any time indoors.

Warm and dry!
My Army son loves these socks. They keep him warm and dry while out in the field. Would also be great for hunters!

Comfy and durable but expensive
Only reason my feet survived georgia's winter and those rucks. The socks they give you are a joke. If you want to take care of your feet, fox rivers are always a good choice. Good durability, comfy, they fit regs, and they look cool. Expensive asf tho. IMO, worth.

Best winter socks I've ever had
Best winter boots socks I've ever had. Well worth the price. They're very well made and super thick, which adds extra cushion to my feet, which is needed after 12+ hours of labor. I've bought 4 pair so far and will be getting more so I have at least 1 pair for every day of the week.
