I’ve never bought handmade watercolors on Amazon, and I was skeptical after seeing the price, but the reviews drew me in as well as the fact that these were made with Honey. When they arrived, I immediately opened and swatched them. The packaging is lovely—beautiful and sturdy. The tin box is so cute but these half pans are FULL, yall. There’s a lot of paint in these. The great part is that they’re so pigmented, it will last. I think these are wonderful for beginners and artists alike, and are equally as beautiful as they are fun. As someone who spends quite a bit of $$ on watercolor paints, this is an incredible value for the quality and quantity. I was so delighted with these, I went straight online and purchased the Ocean set. It arrives tomorrow! Will definitely be purchasing more in the future too. In short, I love these watercolors!!!

Good quality and very pigmented

Everything about this little palette is so lovely. The way it is packaged feels so classy. I keep the tins in the beautiful black boxes they arrived in. I purchased both the “paradise” and the “silk” sets so far. Unwrapping the paints feels almost decadent, like unwrapping candies because the colors are so brilliant under their foil and paper wrappings. I also appreciate that they embossed their logo onto the bottom of each plastic pan. Someone mentioned the magnets being useless with plastic pans— you just need to put the magnet side down towards the tin and put the adhesive side up to stick to the plastic pans. The magnetic strips are a very thoughtful inclusion. These paints are absolutely dreamy to work with and look striking on both white and black paper. An absolute steal for the price. These feel and perform very high quality. I can’t wait to purchase more sets!

I bought the Purple Star set first for a project I was doing. I thought these sounded interesting and as such, worth taking an 11$ chance. Loved that first set so much I bought the other three similar sets that were available with prime shipping the same day I received the first. Facts: Each set comes in a beautiful black box, with a small, branded metal box and 2 strips of magnets. Eachset has 6 handfilled pans of shiny paint. I believe it's iridescent, not glittery. Regardless, very shiny, smells wonderful and has a truly fantastic creamy quality. Pro: =fantastic boxing, setup =love the magnetic strips included. (you could easily cut them in three each and attach to the bottom) =the paint is a very pigmented, true to swatch-shown color, one layer is generally enough to add a bit of shine, you can adjust to more or less pigment and shine. =mixes well with other paint colors. Con: =as the owner of 4 sets now, there may be too many colorless or barely tinted shine options. Its not something I generally use and I'll make use of it to make normal colors mixed with a bit of shine, but I'd rather have another colored pan. Neutral: =I haven't found wet/wet to be very effective. It seems to dissipate without much payoff either in color or in shine but that could be mitigated with a rougher paper and small wet spaces? =I find the slightly misspelled colors to be cute, it's obvious what they're intended to be, and it adds a layer of personality to otherwise banal colors. In conclusion - I love the texture, the packaging and the creamy, buttery consistency of these paints. I saw a review above that encouraged coliro instead and I would be hesitant to encourage that - those tend to be more of a large particle glitter than the soft shine of these. As far as it goes, they are more similar to the paul reubens colors, but at a fraction of the cost if you only want a specific color set and a slightly more unique brushfeel.

Great addition to my watercolor paint collection. Love the beautiful colors and the spark ot gives my paintings. I plan to order some different colors soon.

As a beginner, I have little experience with metallic paints but I am pleased with the smoothness and overall results of these paints. The colors are bright and unique. My only complaint is that the metallic wrappers stuck to the paint and took some effort to remove it. Otherwise, can't beat the price and variety of color.
