These Zyliss knives are first rate. I ordered the set of 3, which includes a 2.25-inch bird's beak knife for making fancy garnishes, a 3.25-inch serrated blade for soft skinned vegetables like tomatoes, and a 3.25-inch straight edge parer for general use. They are sharp, well balanced and designed for a variety of chopping and slicing. They are easy use, comfortable to grip, light in weight, and come with sheaths for safety and edge protection. I expect these knives to last a long time and I highly recommend them.

Love them ! We have top line knives but these stay sharp for years.

These were very good knives however they do not stay sharp very long after about a couple weeks I would say 3 or so mine eyes have been at the tip when I would cut things you need to make sure that you're able to sharpen them and have something ready for them other than that they weren't very expensive however I would state that you might want to spend a little bit more money if you want something that would be long term use.

No chefs in our kitchen, just daily cooking so we have gone through lots of knives over the years. Normally I only buy high carbon knives I can stone sharpen. Recently I went on a binge when our last favorite pairing knife had too many nicks to fix.I bought a bunch of medium grade pairing knives on line to replace all our old ones that can't be resharpened any more and bought these just because they were inexpensive and looked good -- and it worked out they are. They are now my wife's favorites so I may get new ones when these wear out instead sharpening all my others :)With the bright color it is easy to find them in the drawer.
