I used it for my basement dehumidifier that is mounted close to the wall . It's positioned in such a way that there is a sharp bend that tends to kink-up regular rubber hoses. This short steel hose was exactly what I needed.

Connection points seem very robust. Very practical for my use. Easy installment.

The hose is built well but I was expecting the hose internal diameter to be that of a garden hose. I would not recommend buying this if you need the same volume of water. The inside of this hose looks like it it 5/16" in diameter. Other than that it is useful. It flexes nice and has solid brass ends.

Bought May 6th, by may 27th it was broken. The metal outside separated and inside bundled out. See picture.

What a piece of crap, what is a good idea turned out to be poorly designed and manufactured, to bother with this product.

Leaked badly.
