It's well made and heavy. It's not cheaply made. I say it's worth it. I would buy again.

Odd question but how is the "fan" attached to the base? Is there any way to unattach the fan from it?

The blades are welded to the base, so there is no way you will be able to unattached the top portion from the base.

How tall and wide is the large? Why is it cheaper than the small size?
