I bought this machine, as I work in an open concept office where people have no concept of indoor voices. It's super small, uses either USB or AC power (cord and adapter included, which is nice), and it just works. I specifically waited until the worst offender was talking, and then turned it on... And turned it down to a much lower volume than I expected to need. I can hear my music, I can hear my phone, and I can't hear my coworkers. Better than expected, which is a nice surprise these days!
