The screw should measure 5/16” across screw head)For wood and wood-by-products onlyAvailable in Packs of 4, 8, or 12 Review: Where has this been all my life - Having spotted these at the National Hardware show Las Vegas 2021 am thrilled to be able to purchase Zzem Screws in UK Excellent quality - the perfect solution if your hinge screws are turning & turning and the door has worked its way loose. I used to use gorilla glue & match sticks or cocktail sticks which sort of worked but was never that strong. Zzem screws come complete with all you need Except the cordless drill 🙌 You use the supplied drill bit to make the old screw hole bigger, then use the supplied Hex bit to drive the Zzem screw into the new hole using a cordless The Zzem screw cuts a tight thread into the hole Make sure its flush with the frame behind where the hinge sits Lastly use the supplied no 2 Phillips screwdriver bit & screw to secure the hinge to the frame Check the depth of the door frame & if required trim the Zzem screws after first establishing how thick it is. Ive never had such a strong fix Highly recommend Review: Easy Install. Worked perfect - Our solid wood front door on our 3-year old house was starting to drag and was getting harder to latch when you closed it. When I went to tighten the hinge screws, I found that 80% of them screws on the jamb side wouldn't tighten...they just spun. I ordered one of these kits, and it took about 15 minutes to install. It came with everything needed, including the drill bit. Now the door closes easily, clicks latched with a light pull, and no more drag, just like new. And since the screws now screw into metal instead of soft pine 2x4, it's highly unlikely I'll ever have a problem again. The kit seems a bit over-priced for the materials, but it definitely works.

Game Changer For Old Doors!
I have an old house with doors that have clearly been abused over the years—hinges worn down, doors sagging, and I honestly thought there was no hope of getting them fixed without a major overhaul. That was until I found this door hinge repair kit. The installation was straightforward and the instructions were clear, even for someone like me who’s not a professional. The quality of the materials was impressive, and the kit came with everything I needed to get my doors back in action. After using this, my doors are functioning smoothly again, and they feel as secure as ever. It saved me a ton of time and money compared to replacing the entire door or calling in a pro. If you’re dealing with old, abused doors like I was, this kit is a lifesaver. Highly recommend! Always a huge fan of veteran owned too

Saved my door
I replaced the hinges in my front door twice over the past few years and it started to stick again over the winter. Thought I needed a new door (which is obviously not cheap), but stumbled across this. It took less than 5 minutes and the door opens and closes like new. Couldn't be happier!

Quick easy intalltion, all you need is a drill
I had been searching for a way to "rehang" our interior doors. WE have a real estate boom house, which means it was built as quickly and cheaply as possible. Over the last 15 years, the interior doors had begun to sag. The hinge screws were pulling out and there was really no "meat" (stud) to reenforce, refill the hole, or ... This kit was great took me less than a half-hour to fix 6 doors in the house using the 12 part kit. I only used two sleeves in the top hinge of each door. realized the doors so they latch securely now. no drooping or rubbing the door frames. Highly recommend over the toothpick and lgue method.

Stripped screw holes no more.
I'd been trying to adjust some interior door hinges, and was using a nail punch to stretch an upper hinge and ripped the screws right out of the frame. A couple of searches pointed me to these, and all reviews looked good. While not cheap, they solve the problem and are way more cost effective than a new frame.
