I had a nail puncture in my tire and took it to a repair shop and because of a small amount of tread damage they would not repair it. The puncture was not on a sidewall. I inspected the tread damage and it was very superficial so I bought this kit. It is fairly straightforward. I left the tire on the vehicle because the puncture was accessible and let out some but not all of the air in the tire. I removed the nail and got brisk airflow then I used the reamer tool that took a decent amount of force to penetrate the tire. I then used the plug tool with the plug in it and that took a significant amount of force to push into the reamed hole. In the end hole plugged. I sprayed soapy water on repair and no leak! Holding 35 pounds of air pressure.

It is a small and compact tire repair kit. I used it for lawn mower tires and it was perfect, easy to use, shipped quick (faster than Amazon prime said it would) and had everything. Extreme value for the money! I will be ordering one for every car my family owns.

I worked at a car shop in high school, and half my day was spent patching people's tires. They would pull up, toss the boss man a $20 and I would plug the hole with something exactly like this. That was a couple decades ago, but the memories all came rushing back. Reminiscing aside, the quality is excellent and it works great. Took me all of 2 minutes to yank the screw, ream the hole and stick one of the patches in. There's plenty of extras too, enough to last most people a lifetime unless you live on a construction site.

Hard to say, I’ve not need it yet. That said, I’ve done my homework and this checks all the boxes I want for an emergency. Added it to my car kit and feel good knowing it’s there.

I was skeptical, but pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to plug a flat tire with this product. Directions were clear, and the process simple. I found the source of my tire leak (a piece of carpet knife blade embedded in the tread), pulled it out, then followed instructions to score the puncture, pop in the plug, and snip off the excess. Tire is fully inflated and holding 1 week later. Far more affordable than a new tire. Highly recommend this product.

Bought this to teach my young boys how to plug a hole in a tire instead of going to the garage every time. I will follow up with pictures.
