We decided we needed a secure go-bag for our important papers and this fits the bill. Holds everything we wanted, passports, SS cards, marriage certificates, power of attorney, etc. Zipper is good, and the bag is very well made. Sending a few of these as gifts.

Very stout and well built. Great way to store your must have documents and small items in case of emergency. Might have to fold the top over the edge of the shelf in some smaller home safes but it’s easy enough to do.

I bought this to store cash in for the event of an emergency and store inside my safe. It's nice sized for documents but a bit overly long for cash. Buyers need to pay attention to the purpose of this bag - it is not meant to withstand a fire by being burnt, but rather to store paper items inside of so you can grab and run in the event of a fire and prevent flames from directly hitting your valuables. I think it will serve it's purpose.

Compact but sturdy and spacious enough for a number of documents. Supplement for a larger fire safe - this one will be a “go bag” for emergencies.

Quality product but I hope I never have to see if they work. I put my important documents in this and put it in my safe.

More people - especially disabled veterans - should take this advice: take all your critical documents (WILL, birth & marriage certificates, SS card, DD-214, VA disability determination letter, etc etc) and put them in one of these document protectors, clearly marked, and put it in a personal safe. Then write a letter to your spouse (or other family member) from YOU beyond the grave, explaining where EVERYTHING is: phone numbers, account numbers, access to passwords, insurance policies... your entire life. Keep it updated and make sure your spouse knows where it is so when you die (and we all do that), your spouse can grab that letter instead of panicking. All your vital documents in one place will make it easier for your grieving survivors to make final arrangements and get survivor benefits. She and I both have a folder, marked by name, in our big safe. When I depart this body, I want that letter to tell her how to access my entire life: especially things like bills, automated payments and the retirement pay that needs to stop immediately. Our former tax deduction son knows where it all in in case she and I are both killed in a car wreck or something. This document bag has proven so useful that, as Treasurer for our local Disabled American Veterans chapter, I bought one to use for all the chapter's paperwork (founding charter, IRS tax-exempt letter, etc) that we'd been paying to keep in a bank safe deposit box. Now it's all in our safe - if something happens to me, they know how to contact our son, who can open our safe and give it to them. All that to say that this is far more valuable than the cost. I highly recommend this!

Great size for multiple large envelopes and a notebook. Heavy duty and very well made. Medium weight and secure.
