The Oregon 24548B Bench Chain Breaker comes with a nice long handle so you can add that extra bit of leverage to pop through rivets without wearing out your arms. It comes with 2 different size punches for small and big 3/8 chains. The Side Slide Breaker Anvil works really well for holding the chain in place. The punches are made of a good hardened steel to get through the toughest rivets without popping the pointed end off. Makes life much easier than pounding rivets out by hand or using a grinder. Easy to use tool pays for itself in a short period of time.

This breaker works great. Pulls down straight as it should with tons of leverage. Pops a link in no time. Top notch quality! I tried another cheaper brand combination link breaker spinner that was blue. Junk. So many issues I had to return it.

Purchased for my husband and he says it works well. No issues.

Haven’t tried it yet but I think it will do the trick.

Works well and quality equipment from Oregon. Had no problems setting up and using.

I was hoping for a good engineered piece of equipment, that one likes to use, but I got disappointed. - you _have_ to bolt it down to use it in the first place, I was hoping to move it to the specific spot where I need it in time. They could have included a foot or so to enable this. Having it stationary makes it a lot less helpful. - The anvil is a joke, it almost never fits any chain I have, its a huge hassle to get the links into it and they do not stay nicely seated and then you need to move the anvil somehow in the right spot. The shape of the links is always the same for all sizes, one could easily integrate an anvil that is solid in place and can be adjusted to the size of the current chain. The chain was flying around multiple times because I couldnt get everything lined up in the right way. - why didnt they put grease in there that will last a lifetime, instead you need to get some oil before you can start and need to fill more in? its not really clear how to determine the service-life.
