Is this definitely not teflon inside? What is the inside made of?

Teflon is a trademark for PTFE. I am not sure if this coating is Teflon brand, but it definitely is PTFE or some other non-stick coating. Nothing sticks to it, after probably 100 waffles I have made on it.

does this waffle maker have an australian plug?

No and keep the recipe for the waffle mix because nothing else works

Do you have to use the piece on top to add the mix or can it be poured into the iron itself

The piece on top is the funnel for your mixture, the waffle iron is always standing vertical as shown in the picture!

Do you have to use butter or oil/Pam before pouring the batter?

I use Pam on both sides of the interior. Since my batter is too thick to pour in, I lay it on the side to use this appliance. Just be very careful not to touch the opening metal funnel. It is extremely hot while in use.

Exelente calidad.

Mi wafflera llego antes del tiempo estimado y en perfecyas condiciones, es tal kual la descripcion y las fotos k miestran en la pagina. Es muy facil de usar y se limpia kon mucha facilidad. No se pega en lo absoluto.

Don't overfill the waffle mix, and you'll have great waffles.

Great waffles. Excellent non-stick coating. I used this waffle maker about 50 times before I got tired of waffles each morning. Not kidding. I use a premix (what used to be Aunt Jemima just add water mix) and got perfect waffles each time. Seriously, I love this thing.
