Easy to fit replacement, does the job.

Thanks to one of these batteries and replacing the hard disk with an SSD my HP laptop now has a longer power run than when I bought it. I had forgotten what it was like not to have to plug in to the mains after an hour (sometimes less), now the thing is still going strong at bedtime, unlike me. It took about a week to build up its forces, at first it did not last much longer than the old battery, but now it is surprising me by giving the sort of performance you read in laptop specifications but never get. Edited April 2025: the battery still works, lasting up to an hour before Windows tells me that the laptop needs to be plugged in - then closes it down in seconds before I can plug it in. Whatever battery settings I try to make it give me more notice it makes no difference, personally I feel that the Windows battery controller is badly designed and simply doesn't work. The battery still charges up very quickly and I do wonder if it is really fully discharged at all, but what can I do?

This is my second replacement on my 10 year old laptop and allows me to stay with Windows 10 rather than buying a new laptop and a host of unwanted apps and so-called AI! I have just what I need, so I'm very happy. Came well packaged and was nearly fully charged. Fitted perfectly and is working fine. My only reason for not giving it five stars is the sharp edge on the rear moulding. This is designed to match a countour on the machine but I needed to give it a few rubs with some fine glass paper to smooth it .

Unfortunately the need for a new battery was not because the original battery was dying but because the component on the motherboard had failed. This meant that the brand new battery went flat within 12 hours when not even switched on.

This does exactly what it promised, and it arrived promptly too.

It fits perfectly but I don’t think it holds enough charge. Only seems to give me around 4 hours use. However it does work ok.

Original battery wasn't holding any charge so laptop would die die to no juice. Had to remain on mains charge all the time. Laptop is Toshiba satellite S50 BN Replaced with this battery now laptop will operate solely on battery for at least 3hrs before needing to recharge

Thought I'd need to get a new laptop. It wasn't holding its charge, luckily for my model Toshiba laptop it has a removable battery. Now holding charge better than ever.
