Spalding NeverFlat Elite Indoor/Outdoor Basketball

Best ball I've had, I did have that first version when I was in middle school and had no issues, can only imagine even better results with this one....

Knowing this ball will not go flat is awesome. It was a gift for underprivileged children, so not needing a pump is perfect.

The basketball arrived over-inflated. Like, hard as a rock. There was a sticker on the ball, over the valve, that says not to remove the covering over the valve or it will "negate the product warranty" since it's supposed to stay inflated for an entire year. I've sent Spalding an email asking how I can remove some of the air without negating the warranty and will update my review once I've heard back. As of now, the ball could be used if absolutely needed (since it's the right size and shape), but it will not be a ball anyone would actually want to use. Hit the rim, and this ball will bounce a mile. Dribble it, and you might break your hand. Yes, those are exaggerations, but the ball is still way, way too hard. UPDATE: So I reached out to Spalding Customer Service, and after that exchange, I have changed my review from 2 stars to 5. Their customer service is some of the best I've ever experienced: fast, friendly, and solution-focused.

After a year plus of use, being in continuous weather and never adding air the ball still has plenty of bounce and has yet to go flat! Only reason 4 stars were given was some of the ball has lost its "rubber grip" and some of the surface is smooth.

Nice weight, feels good and has good grip. Excellent mid-priced choice for someone who wants more than the $11.88 choice from the big blue sparky retailer, but also not spend $100+ on a premium leather ball.

Ball arrived mostly flat and within a week was completely flat

I read reviews on indoor/outdoor basketballs prior to purchase, and this one consistently rated towards the top, if not the top recommended. Purchased as a Christmas gift for my son, and it shipped and came.already inflated. Unexpected surprise that panned out, because as he was opening it, I realized I didn't own a needle to pump it up. Truly, this spalding is "never flat". Dad joke provided free of charge.

The ball arrived flat with a warning that it shouldn't be inflated first year of use, otherwise it's a loss of warrantee.

Great basketball to play with or gift. It is easy to inflate and bounces really well. Made of good quality material. I only play and shoot hoops occasionally so I am not sure how it compares to professional basketballs. However this is a good one if you play recreationally and need it shipped quickly (Amazon Prime).

Sounds strange when it bounces but does stay inflated. Air hole plug was impossible to remove and somehow ended up inside, so now it pings and rattles when dribbling.

Overpriced and sounds like im bouncing a tin can, not a basketball. Wouldnt buy again
