After starting an extreme workout, such as Insanity, I would wake up everyday, with the worst muscle pain. Going up and down stairs became an arduous ordeal that took a ton of energy out of me, just suffering getting to where I needed to go. I had read multiple reviews about Legion and figured I'd give it a shot. I can honestly say that I'm glad that I did. By the second day of using it, I felt a decrease in pain, and by day 4, I'm practically pain free in the mornings! I purchased the unflavored kind, as I don't like tropical punch, and although it's not completely flavorless, it's good. It doesn't mix well with just water, so I recommend using a Blender Bottle or something similar to help mix the powder. Also, as at least one other reviewer has stated, it causes me gas approximately an hour after taking it. However, I'll trade some gas for pain free mornings. Will definitely purchase again when I'm running low. UPDATE: After a week of using Recharge, the gas has finally went away. I can only assume my body got used to the product.

I purchased the unflavored Recharge so I could mix it in my protein shake after workouts. It definitely mixes well, has no taste but is VERY sweet. The first 4 days I took the recommended 5mg scoop and did experience some nasty stomach issues along with water weight gain, about 5lbs. I took 1 day off to give my stomach a rest and when I resumed on the 6th day, the stomach issues subsided. That day is when I noticed the difference in my recovery and in my endurance during workouts. It's been awesome. Also, within another 3 or 4 days after resuming, the water weight went away. Thanks!

I am not a big workout person but started a Crossfit Bootcamp class and knew I'd be sore. I was looking for a recovery drink to replace the P90X recovery drink that has become ridiculously expensive. I read the reviews of the Legion Recharge and decided to give it a try (especially due to the review that referenced the P90X replacement). I am still sore, but not as sore as I probably should be, and have noticed an increase in strength/endurance in two weeks. It's important the ingredients are natural and not a bunch of chemicals, and a bonus the Recharge is 60 servings. The Unflavored is surprising sweet and mixes well with chocolate protein powder...my substitute for a post workout 'meal' due to my class getting over late and not wanting to eat a big meal late. Thanks for your product! Am looking to try your protein power next.

Was very excited to try this product due to all the positive reviews. Price is right. Flavor is kinda fishy and salty on its own (I got unflavored version) but it mixes really well with my strawberry post workout shake and gives it a bit of a sweet and salty taste, which is actually really good. With that said, this is the best laxative on the market. I tried sticking through with it and seeing if I will get used to it and stop having explosive diarrhea each time after taking it, but after 2 weeks of taking this stuff every other day after my workouts, I can no longer handle this. Very counterproductive - been trying to gain weight and bulk up and I've been making good progress until I started using this product. I've lost 10 pounds over the last 2 weeks probably because I s*** everything I've eaten that whole day out over the course of 5-6 painful, poos. If you want to feel violated all night and most of the time the next morning as well - this is the one for you.

I started reading all of the articles from Mike Matthews and decided that I'd try his supps. The recharge is quite good. I haven't taken creatine in a long time and have been lifting continuously for roughly 5 years. I was surprised that my muscle soreness has reduced significantly. I still get sore, but it isn't nearly as bad. I use the unflavored and I think it tastes good on its own. It sort of taste like sweetened water. I only got the unsweetened because it was cheaper on Amazon. If you're looking for creatine, don't hesitate and just buy this stuff. I think it mixes great with a blender bottle. Best mixing creatine I have used. I am also glad it doesn't contain a bunch of artificial ingredients. I wouldn't buy it if it did.

This is my first time trying this brand. So far so good. I purchased unflavored, but it definitely has a sweet taste that doesn’t mix well with my protein powder, so I’ll be drinking it separately. Only reason for four stars.

Product works fairly well in terms of getting a good push into a workout, but something aside from the caffeine content in this product seems to cause stomach issues when taken in full doses. Also the taste of the fruit punch could be better.

Legion products continue to impress me, and their customer service does a really good job to help you out. I've honestly always been skeptical on Post-Workout supplements, but I've found that most days since starting this I do not get nearly as sore from my workouts. As evidence towards it working: I picked back up a workout routine that I had let slip for a while, and it was one that did make every muscle in my body sore. Well since restarting I expected the worst considering where my initial performance was at. Much to my surprise I've felt pretty ok, and this is really the only big difference in diet or exercise I can think of for it. I have two fair warnings to the buyer, though in my opinion their more heads ups as neither is bad enough for me to stop using it for that reason: -The "Unflavored" kind I got actually seemed to have a very slight Lemon/Citrus like flavor to it. Not bad, but some thing to keep in mind if choosing between flavors. -You do need to thoroughly wash the item you put this in within a day. Nothing bad at first, but I'm notorious for only washing my water bottles every week or two since it's just water. Well after figuring this was a harmless addition, a day after the bottle really started to smell kind of mushroom-funky. Easily both taken away and avoided by wash with soap and water. Like I said, more a heads up/precaution. I still recommend this product!
