This thing boils water faster than I've ever seen, though it is my first and only electric kettle. The lighting is beautiful and everything about the kettle is well-designed.The only issues I have are minor and less about the product than my personal needs and preferences. First, you cannot boil any less than 0.5 L of water at a time, and to do so would damage the kettle. I find this frustrating at times, as I would need a measuring cup that is similarly heat resistant to be able to accurately measure out lesser quantities after the water is boiled. I often just end up using the full 0.5 L to make more coffee or tea than I will actually drink.Second, this kettle pulls a lot of voltage. I have it plugged into a surge protector box with a couple other low-energy-requirement electronics, and it will often trip the surge protector and shut the whole box off once the water gets to a strong boil. When it does this, the kettle also doesn't shut itself off, so I have made the mistake of pouring out the boiling water before turning the box back on, which caused the kettle to fully heat while empty. Luckily, I recognized this in time and was surprised there was no lasting damage.Lastly, the kettle's self-shutoff mechanism (which isn't really a feature to me as much as a safety essential) takes just a bit too long to engage when boiling smaller quantities of water. The water will be boiling violently evaporating and pulling lots of electricity for a good minute before it shuts itself off.Despite minor "complaints," this is one of the best kitchen items I've ever bought, and I'm not sure if it can be beat for the price.

We had an old kettle and the water level window was behind the handle, making it hard to read. This one is easy to read. Holds more water and heats quickly. The sale price made it a no brainer to try, and we are so glad we did.

This kettle boils water fast and is easy to clean. Small quibbles: if you don't turn the kettle off when you remove it from the base, it will be on when you replace the kettle on the base. It would be better if the kettle just turns off and stays off when you remove the kettle from the base. Also, it doesn't turn off immediately when water starts to boil.

This isn't bulky like my old one. Works well and looks great.

Gets hot quickly

My husband and I have owned about three electric kettles and we love them however they lasted about 3 or 4 years and then they would stop working. This one so far has been the best one we've ever had it heats up twice as fast as the other ones and I love the light that it emits it reminds me of a gas stove very Charming the price was great I would highly recommend it it Heats and half the time you won't regret it

Very easy to use and looks nice on my counter. Heats water faster than a different kettle that I had bought a few years ago. Is loud when the boiling cycle is nearing an end, but this seems normal with kettles I have seen. I would buy again.
