I've used this product for several years. I use the color golden brown. I have grey hair and it covers my grey very well. It turns out darker at first, but after a few washes the color becomes a beautiful golden brown which is my natural color. I find it very nourishing to my hair. There is no offensive odor and it is very easy to apply. I wash my hair 3 times a week and I find that the color lasts for quite a while.

I've been using this brand for years. Before I had greys, I loved the warm tones it would give my brown hair. Now with grays, it covers them nicely. Even my hari stylist has been impressed with the color, my hair health, and the natural look of the grow out. I have chin-should length bob cut - 1/3-1/2 bottle covers my whole head. I apply, then cover with a shower cap for 45-60 minutes then rinse out. I try to not wash my hair for the next 2-3 days (not always possible but I try). I use a gentle shampoo that is devoid of sulfates and avoiding any clarifying shampoos until I'm ready to reapply. A clarifying shampoo will remove the color in just one wash for me. I do have naturally wavy hair and this product will weigh down my waves for a couple weeks. I find I need to reapply every 6-12 weeks depending on the time of year depending, on how fast my hair has grown and how much sun I have been in.

So considering this was my first experience with henna in any form or fashion, I must say this was super easy and I'm very impressed. I wasn't looking to lighten my hair or drastically change the look. I had a few greys, and as a spritely 35, I'm just not ready for that! I did a decent amount of research and knew I didn't want to do anything permanent. I also wanted something that wouldn't strip my hair. I'm 4 months postpartum and the postpartum hairloss is REAL! I looked up a few different kinds and found this option. I was fully prepared to mix and add yogurt, and sit and wait and blah blah blah but this is pretty much ready right out of the box. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with gloves, but it's not so much of a deal breaker as to knock a star off. It was sooo easy and I left it on for about an hour. I literally just put on a Netflix show and set a timer. My husband helped me rinse it out and we rinsed until the water ran clear. I let it air dry and then heat styled it. It came out like a deep chocolate brown with a hue of red but not too much. My greys are non-existent (there weren't that many to begin with but still) BE AWARE: Your nails will look super dirty after scartching your head for the first few days. This grossed me out until I realised it was the henna. Will try some other colors when this one lightens up (don't judge my struggle strands!)

My first time using, really easy to work with. I put it in an application bowl and used the brush to apply color to my hair. I chose Golden brown expecting a lighter color, but my hair color came out to be dark brown almost black. Also, I was expecting it to leave a shine to my hair, but it was very dull after the application. I looked at so many trying to decide on a color, maybe there was a different one that has a shine. I’ll look further before I make my next purchase but overall great product. I look forward to ordering again.

I purchased this product three times, the first time they sent the right color and I loved it, the second time they sent the wrong color and third time they sent the same wrong color! Frustrating. The product itself is great, doesn’t have any smell it’s easy to apply, although the color fades pretty quickly. The seller on the other hand is being frustrating to deal with.

I love this product! I have been using it for about 2 years and it's so comfortable to use. The advantages are many: 1) It will not strip your hair of color and ruin it like other colors do 2) It gives you very natural hues, depending on your original hair color. Do not expect it to color hair that was too dark to begin with, it will not work for that, but if your hair used to be blonde or light brown, it will work 3) You can use a little bit and then close the bottle and reuse it over and over until you are done with it 4) No mess. If you make your clothes dirty, it will wash away eventually, because it is not permanent. 5) You can mix it with other colors of the same line 6) If you make a mistake, you can wash it away or cover it with a different color 7) When it starts fading, it does so gradually not suddenly, so you have time to reapply before the whites show 8) It covers most of my white hair (I have about 30% whites 9) I leaves your hair soft 10) It contains natural ingredients and does not smell Disadvantage: It is supposed to last for about 8 weeks, but it starts fading after the third shampoo, even though it hangs in there for another maybe 3-5 shampoos. You solve the problem by reapplying. I totally recommend this Surya Brasil product!

I have used henna to dye my grays for more than 6 years. I was using other brands back in Germany, I didnt find those brands here in the USA so I tried this product buying it from Amazon. The color is very nice and the product is easy to apply and leaves the hair shiny, soft and very healthy. No funny smell and no mess mixing it. The bad news is that it doesn't last very long. It takes a week, 10 days tops (washing my hair every other day, that means 5 washes before the color fades away. That never happened to be when using powder henna. Not sure if its the brand or if its like this with ready-to-use henna. So sad because the color is amazing.. but will not buy it again. I DONT have the time to apply Henna every week. :(

Hair literally feels amazing after using surya henna, my curls are more defined than ever and the coulor is beautiful and full of nuances. Gives a natural look without looking dull and boring. I used the Golden brown on some bleached hair and results are stunning, no weird coulor or green of any sorts.

Product is very easy and convenient to use but its not very effective on grey hair.

I am a regular purchaser of this product. Gentle on scalp, fades away gradually without demarcation line.
