This filter is life changing and they last a long time. You get what you pay for! I used to think I had a deviated septum because I could never breath out of one nostril. Bought this on a whim and realized I just had bad allergies. The air literally smells so fresh coming out of the filter. The $63 dollars every 8 months is definitely worth it.

Does this make the same noise as the levoit lv-h132 air purifier?

When turned on the light remains blue. I have another smaller one and put it next to the Levoit and instantly turns red. Is it working right?

I also noticed that the sensor often stays on blue, meaning 'very good' when gasses from cigarette smoke are coming from my neighbors' apartment from under my baseboards behind me on their way to the purifier, continuously. Right now, I'm blowing air in from outside, and the ozone is very high so 'unhealthy.' It's blue. However, this morning when I cooked two eggs for my son on the unvented gas stove, the sensor from about 13 feet away went straight to yellow. It cleared up as I blew fresh air in the back and out the front door. So, it's more sensitive to some things than to others. It also has quite a range. Since it's built in and this is a relatively inexpensive air cleaner compared to others of the same size, the sensor cannot be expected to be very precise. The separate one sold by IQ Air costs well over $300 by itself and provides a number but doesn't break the types of pollutants down into type. I have not owned the smaller versions, so I can't say why they would be more sensitive or if they are simply not clearing the air as fast and therefore have more contaminated air around them. If they are side by side in the same air and showing a worse rating, then maybe they are more sensitive. Not sure. I was wondering if the rating has more to do with particles than with gasses, but when I cook on the stove, my impression was that the pollutants were more from gasses than particles. Will have to look that up. For now, I'd say that if it shows anything but blue, there is definitely something bad in the air, but if it's blue, that doesnt' mean that there isn't anything bad in the air. Maybe the sensor really needs to be several feet away from the device to give a good idea of the air quality in the room. Also, it might be bad for business if it's too sensitive because it's unlikely any device could clear all contaminants in real time, especially for this price. So, if a sensor was showing green or yellow most of the time, customers might be unsatisfied with the results, even though they might not smell anything or be suffering any effects of contamination. They might set it to be less sensitive at the lower ranges of contaminants to reflect a realistic level of performance for this level of product. On the first day we had this, we had more smoke gasses coming in from the neighbor, and there was air coming out of the purifier that smelled like smoke. All this means is that this device can't take all that out, especially at a certain level of incoming contamination. I waited a few minutes, and the smoke smell dissipated. I don't know if it just needs to go through the device several times to get removed or if it just got spread out in the apartment so it wasn't so concentrated. I am still waiting for my IQ Air machine to come, and so this was purchased to hold me over till that comes and to supplement it when the smoke is heavier and when there are wildfires. I never expected this to completely remove the components of cigarette smoke coming into my apartment. I'm doing a lot of other things to keep it out and blow it out until I can escape this nightmare. It should be a felony to smoke in multiunit housing as cigarette smoke kills and you can't completely keep it from going into adjoining or even nearby units.

Why is the cadr listed as 360 but in reality it is 212 according to specs on makers web site?  they also state this when compared to lv-h134 at 312

I also just checked the user manual on their site and it says the CADR is 212, not 360.
