Knife is excellent. In my opinion the best sog made. I love the jimping love the handle grip the S35VN is failed in great for toughness and edge retention balance the sheath works great for me. The sheath fits right in my pocket. No need for belt carry.

This is an excellent knife for the money . Very happy with this selection as others I've bought . I have the folding knife in this model also excellent.

Recieved a used one. Package was unsealed, and the knife has scratches on the blade. Wtf...theres no way I'm keeping this after paying $165. Oh...and the sheath looks like it was designed by a 6 year old. No way to put it together because of it being such a bad design. Get a Gerber StrongArm instead...its 10x better in almost every way...including the sheath.

Seems well made but I believe it was made in China? I could be wrong.

Another gift for hubby, this is by far his favorite knife and his EDC go to. He really does carry it every day. With Cerakoted, CPM S35VN Steel, you have not only a great knife design, but truly great design along with a true "Super Steel" blade material. This makes it a true case of "good news, bad news" when it comes to the steel. The bad news first? Ok, the bad news is that it is very very difficult to get it sharpened to that hair popping razor edge we all love. The good news is that once it's there, the edge will last a ridiculously long long time, making the sharpening process well worth the effort. Once you have the edge you desire, this knife will perform or shall I say out-perform just about any other knives that are in the same price range. So don't give up when sharpening this knife. It's going to be a long and difficult process, but believe me it's well worth the time invested. As far as size and shape of the blade, it's as close to perfect as it gets. This can also be said of the knife's handle. It is perfect for hubby's medium to large size hands, and with jimping starting on the top from about halfway down the blade, all down the top of the handle and completely around the bottom of the handle to and around the small integral guard. The handle is full tang, with scales making it a very strong design. He says that this is the perfect example of a knife that can be used for anything and he stresses anything. He wants to try out the Seal XR next. But since I've gotten him this knife and a Cold Steel Recon Scout this year already, I told him he better win the lottery if he wants another $150-$250 knife this year. It's still really good to see him this happy when he's using or talking about this particular knife, knowing that it was a gift from me that he really loves this much. It's worth the cost of you want to see your man this pleased with a surprise gift that you picked out for him yourself. You just can't go wrong with this one.

These USA made SOG knives are fantastic, especially this Seal line is very rugged and well made. I had the folder first and decided to get the matching fixed blade (though drop point vs tanto style blade). This fixed blade comes with a nice kydex holster for the knife well above their cheap holsters in their lesser priced knives.

I love this knife! Fit and finish is excellent, it’s sharp, nice grip, good looking, worth the money if you have the coin which is it’s only down side. It is a bit expensive but I’ll pay if the quality is as nice as this and seems like a very sturdy knife with an excellent sheath. It’s an A+ from me

Sou colecionador de facas táticas. Pratiquei por alguns anos Modern Arnis Kali, mas atualmente migrei para o Pekiti Tirsia Kali e essa é, sem sombra de dúvidas, uma das melhores laminas que tenho para uso tático/defesa pessoal. Excelente aço (integra o top 10 atualmente), equilibrada e uma bainha kydex fantástica, ambidestra e excelente para porte. Vale a pena o investimento. Fiz um upgrade colocando um ulticlip xl nos furos centrais. Ficou perfeita. Uso em porte velado ou ostensivo, depende da ocasião. Só tome cuidado com o tamanho dos parafusos que fixam o ulticlip, para não riscar a faca. Pela qualidade, talvez seja a última faca tática que irá adquirir. A marca SOG evoluiu muito e essa faca (projeto) foi premiada na Blade Show de 2019.

overall, this is not a bad knife, but for 300+ dollars the sheath is impossible to assemble and the handle is not very comfortable, this knife should be priced around the $100 range
