works great - although the older version without the odd bumps sticking out is much better. i rely on it and have given several as gifts. customer support, however, is terrible. i lost my charging cord and needed to order a replacement. very hard to reach them, then hours of back and forth over 5 days. they can't get me one and are unwilling to get the specs of the transformer wall wart so i can order a 3rd party cord. i finally gave up and ordered a new peanut just to get the cord. edit: they did eventually send a charging cord, which then had the specs on it. and they offered a refund on this peanut. so they are certainly friendly, generous and well-intentioned. so i have revised my rating upwards

First off, the sellers of this marvelous device over at LifePro are a pleasure to shop with. They not only provide a superior product (my purchase) but they followed up to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase and stand completely behind their product in case I wasn't happy with it. But I am very happy with this massage ball. I am a beach volleyball player in Hermosa Beach and I have many shoulder issues all from playing the game I love. I normally use 2 tennis balls taped together to get to the tight or painful areas of my shoulders, lats back etc. They do work well but they pale in comparison to the amazing 4 Speed Vibrating massage ball. It is just like two tennis balls taped together but they are larger and much firmer. The vibrating portion also seems to melt the pain away if I just zero in on a certain troubled area, lay there, take the pain, breathe and relax and the pain starts to lessen. I am still learning my way around my new companion but I am very pleased by the results. I have lifepros vibrating foam roller which I think is great, and I followed up with this peanut. My go to for large muscle groups is the foam roller first, but this peanut is a great follow up if not primary whether you're looking to supplement or replace a standard foam roller. Here's my thoughts. 1. Lifetime warranty. Moving parts (motor), a consumable if not durable Lithium battery.. That alone makes it worth it compared to the other products with 1-2 year warranty max. 2. It's portable and strong. Strong enough to vibrate the walls if you have loose stuff hanging around but it doesn't bother me (on max power). I like to pick this guy up after foam rolling or if I have a specific muscle group. It personally love it for the spine erectors and neck when I'm potatoing watching TV. It gets in the nook and crannies in the flutes, as well as digging in deeper than a foam roller for lower extremities. When rolling an it band, you shouldn't roll the it band directly, but the muscle groups surrounding it. This is peanut is great for the it band and tensor fascia groups for that reason. It really can replace and do everything a foam roller can and it's portable. It just doesn't have the surface area of a foam roller if bang for your buck regarding time to get all the muscle groups quickly if you're short on time. I take this peanut to work when working call at my hospital job. As mentioned before, I have both this guy and lifepros foam roller. I supplement this to the foam roller. If I can choose between this one and a roam roller, I would choose the roller first. But I wouldn't mind utilizing this to replace a bulkier foam roller if I had to choose only 1 due to cost or space limitations for whatever reason. My wife does not like this product. But she also doesn't like using a foam roller lol. She prefers the massage gun we had from hyperice which prematurely died after a few months. Waiting for lifepros version which I support so long as reliability and warranty is on par with the 2 current lifepro products I have.

I would give this company10 stars if I could! Had an issue with my original peanut massager and lifepro replaced it at no charge! I haven't seen customer service like this in years; how refreshing :-) Lifetime warranty on their products; unheard of...what's not to LOVE?!!
