It has a strong "menthol" smell to it. I personally love that smell and smelling it when I move around reminds me I have the cream on. It does work pretty good. On my first purchase and using it a few times, probably no more than a week in, I saw physical changes. The first change was little divets where cellulite had "melted" away. I used it mainly on my belly. I didn't change my diet or exercise at all. After 2 weeks of continuous use, just putting it on after the shower or before bed, I saw a really good defintion in the shrinkage spots and overall. Once everything started getting some good change there weren't "divets" like that so don't worry about that, I think that's just the easiest spots it was able to target at first and nothing anybody else would notice just me because I was paying attention.It feels like icy hot. If I really slathered it on, even bundled up in leggings AND sweats, it would feel freezing and I would bundle up in blankets lol but the more I sat with it then it would go to hot and that was fine. Either way it was fine, just made me feel like it was working and I knew it was because I was seeing regular progress.It's good for sensitive skin because I also used it on the inside of my thighs where chub rub happens and didn't realize the cream was going to obviously come in contact with my lady parts since I don't use cellophane wrap or anything when doing this. Icy hot on your lady bits makes you feel like you have to pee so just a precaution if youre going to put the cream on your upper legs LOL.Unless I have a specific reason to wash it off, I'll leave it until I shower next. Never had any issues with my skin and the cream doesn't feel gross or anything.The cream is a really nice peach color in the bottle but rubs on clear when applied.Really good stuff! Definitely would recommend. But I do stay away from my birds because of the strong smell during the first couple hours of application. My dogs don't care. I am very happy with this product!

Okay. At one time, this was a 5-star product! Now it is NOTHING LIKE IT WAS 2 years ago. All the positive reviews were 2020 and prior years. I only saw a couple of 2021 reviews. Can you find any 2022?Here’s my story: I first purchased this product in September 2020. I was so impressed with the inch loss I experienced, I immediately purchased 2 more jars within a couple of weeks. I didn’t want to run out! I got married the same month, got busy, etc. etc. Therefore, I didn’t use the product regularly. Here almost 2 years later and 25lbs of Pandemic weight gained, I pulled the product out to use begin using it consistently. I had 1 1/2 jars still left. I half-expected it to be ineffective and probably expired by not! Lo and behold! It was still very potent.. Even the open jjar still had the same familiar burning effect and strong Bengay smell it had nearly 2 years before. But the test would be if it still worked.Yes! yesssss! After only 1 week, I noticed a slimming of my thighs. I did the same workout, eating regimen, etc. The ONLY difference was this Hot Cream. After about 3 weeks, there is an indisputable difference in all my problem areas. I look so different…in a good way!!But…Here’s the problem. Because I was about to run out of the final jar I bought in 2020, I ordered from Amazon 1 jar. I put the remaining amount from my 2020 jar on my abs, flanks, arms and part of my thighs. I opened the new jar (the label is now red, used to be white), it is no longer a soothing gel but a heavy cream. I rubbed it on my thighs and put on my neoprene body suit and waist trainer. It has no kick to it. It has no pleasant burning sensation. I feel nothing. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!Tell me, why do companies change a winning formula? WHY?? In all fairness, I have not allowed it to do its job yet. This is the first day of the new formula. I can almost guess that it will not be as effective (or worse, NOT effective at all and a total waste of time, effort and money). If I continue to see a difference, as I did with the original formulation, I will write an update to this 1-star review.UPDATE: I tried to give an update 2 days ago, but it never posted? I changed my rating to 5 stars! This new formulation DOES BURN! It is so potent that as I’m putting it on, it makes my eyes water! Not sure why that first dose was so unimpressive, but I can now say that this new cream formulation is just as effective as the gel-like original. My thighs look amazing. Granted, I’m using other products, but the Hot Cream is the major contributor of my results. I love love love it and will continue to buy it until my goals are reached. I apologize to any potential buyers who read my review above and did not purchase because of it. I’ll be more careful in the future to give a product time before posting my reviews. Lesson learned.😌

I’ve been using this product for about two weeks now and as far as I can tell it helps enhance my sweating . My cellulite is not as bad as it was but I’ve been doing a lot of cardio lately so I’m not sure if this has contributed to that. I put it on before I get into my at home sauna and as far as I can tell it works well. I put it on my problem areas like my stomach, thighs , arms and around my jawline. No weird irritation issues as of yet. A few takeaways though: 1.)The product feels like icy hot while on . 2.)Only use RIGHT BEFORE workout. I made the mistake of putting it on during the 15 mins it takes my sauna to heat up and I was FREEZING COLD for that entire 15 mins. 3.) put it on like lotion not sunscreen. It still works the same if you rub in a thin layer all over the skin like lotion. The product goes very fast if you lather it on like sunscreen for each use. Overall I would say I’m satisfied with my purchase . I really could do without the strong scent and that intense tingly cold feeling but I will more than likely order again . I ordered one for my mom too so I will see if she likes it as well.

I've never used a hot cream before but I bought this because I have a very hard time sweating and would like to sweat more to get toxins out of my body. I rubbed this lotion into my stomach area and lower back before I went out to mow in the hopes that it would warm me up and I would sweat. I did not feel any heat from this cream at all.I will say that it smells nice and has a good texture (it's soft and melts easily into the skin). It's easy to use and seems to be a good quality lotion so I am keeping it as a general body lotion. I just wish it would make me feel warmer so I could sweat!

This. Stuff. Works! I’m not one who easily sweats. If it works on someone like me, I think it’ll work for just about anyone. This. Stuff. Works. I would caution putting too much of it on your skin because it’ll cause you to overheat. 💜

I ordered this premium, hot cream, sweat enhancer, and you have two choices one that has a menthol substance in it, and the other that says ultra moisturizing when you read the description, it has no mention of a menthol substance in it so that’s what I ordered. Oh my God when I opened up the cream and put a little bit on each arm area wow the smell of the menthol is so strong it’s overbearing. Just wanted to share that with people I work in the healthcare industry, not allowed to wear perfume when dealing with patients so this odor just doesn’t work for me. Amazon was very helpful in taking the items back even though I had opened one.
