Looks built well. I have it mounted on a mildly textured dashboard (against the wishes of the instructions lol) and it seems to be holding just fine, just had to focus on cleaning it a bit more. Mechanism to hold phone doesn't grab too hard to bind the gears up, but not too loose so it falls out. Cord friendly port is nice, but the port cover on my case is just small enough so keep that in mind if your port cover is particularly large. Overall great, and nice to use

I rented a Jeep for a 2,000-mile trip across the Southwest, from deserts to Colorado’s snowy peaks. I needed a car mount that could handle it all, without falling apart halfway through the trip. After scrolling through countless holders, I ordered this one because of its flexible mounting options and the “Safety Cert.” Plus, with 15 years focused on car mounts, it feels reliable and safe. --------------- Pros: 1. Strong Suction That Stays Put: I mounted it on the windshield for better filming angles. The suction held through bumpy desert roads and snowy mountain passes. My phone never dropped—not once. 2. Truly Multi-function Compatible: Tried it on the dashboard, vent, and finally the windshield. All worked well. The silicone air vent clip is actually more stable than I expected, and the dashboard adhered nicely with zero residue. 3. Perfect for Big Phones: My 16 pro max (with a MagSafe case) fits snugly in the holder. While I usually prefer MagSafe mounts, the clamp-style grip here actually worked better for the road trip. It offers a wider contact area and better shock absorption. 4. Simple Setup + Thoughtful Accessories: It comes with alcohol wipes, a cable clip(loved this touch!), and a clear manual. When I casually saw this HTU brand, I couldn't believe how robust it looked, just from the Illustration photos. I didn't need to read any reviews of what others thought about it, I just clicked, buy now. When I first got it, I found that it had a very good texture. There are a lot of nice features, and the best part of this car phone mount though has to be the cable organizer !! Which can make my charging wire tidy, and my car interior organized, improving the safety of driving. This car holder is excellent. It holds my iPhone 14 Pro Max with an Otterbox case on it!!!! The mount comes with a release button for putting in different-sized phones. My S21 Ultra also works perfectly. This mount is adjustable in every way. You can adjust the length of the arm and adjust the angle of the phone. You can easily find a good angle that does not affect your driving. Two enlarged side buttons!! which is the most professional design of all the brackets I have used, it doesn't block my finger when opening the clamps. Other brackets are all small and short buttons, it is very inconvenient and difficult to open the clamp arm because I need to find the release button every time. My finger touches the button is very comfortable now. Inserting the phone was really simple. There is a small adjustable protruding "ledge" at the bottom which supports your phone and allows you to balance the phone on the ledge while you adjust the side arms. The arms lock into place and hold the phone very securely. The arms are also padded so they will not mar your phone. Retrieving the phone was easy. with release tabs on both sides of the mount, and I like the location as it provides easy one-handed access to the phone without me having to venture too far from the steering wheel. There are two mounting bases supplied, one for air vent louvers and the other for the suction mount. Although I wasn't planning to use the vent mount I did try it out and it attached well, although, of course, it does reduce the airflow. I could have mounted it via the air vent clip that came in the kit, but I use my air vents regularly, so that wasn't an option, because my iPhone 14 Pro Max covers the vent completely. I could have mounted it on the passenger side air vent, but that took my phone too far away. As I was not very clear about the installation process for the first time, the after-sales staff patiently explained to me the detailed steps, and the service attitude was very good. I opt for a dashboard mount as opposed to a windscreen mount at first. The suction of the sucker was so strong that it produced an unshakeable suction before I even tightened it on the dashboard. But I was a tad skeptical at first, concerned that the dash mounting would really stick...The suction bottom has a circular film that needs to be removed before you stick it to the dash. Mine's on the middle of the dash as it was the 'flattest' overall location. I cleaned the dash and waited 1 day for it to set on the dash, as per instructions and I can say, it is well and truly stuck. I sometimes apply it to the windshield, and it is just as stable. No matter whether my phone is horizontal or vertical, it will not shake, even if I have to go through a rough dirt road on my way to work every day, it is still unswerving. Adjustability on this mount was also great. The mounting arm can move up and down, in and out, and the mounting ball allows for full rotation of the phone. This system allows you to adjust the phone to almost any possible position. The movement was a bit stiff, but that is what you want so it doesn't start sagging on you. I am not in the habit of leaving reviews, but I sincerely hope that you can see this product. I will be very happy if I can help friends who have the same needs for this kind of mobile car phone holder.

In my opinion, this car phone holder is the best so far that I’ve purchased. When handling it for the first time, you can feel its good quality, not cheap and flimsy. My phone has a “ring” to put your finger through to hold your phone, on the cover. So it makes the back of phone thick. This phone holder is big enough to actually hold my phone with its thickness. So far my phone has not fallen off. Just put it on my windshield a few days ago, so can’t comment on the suction as of yet. The holder put together very easily. Two thumbs 👍👍 up from me

We bought one and loved it so much we purchased a second one. They truly stand up to the Colorado sun. You know if you know. Lol Great quality easy to remove and reapply multiple times. Im sure there would be a limit to how many times they can be removed and put back. So far I'm up to 5 times. And it's still holding strong. I hate to use this as an example. I was in a car crash last year from being t-boned. It never popped off. My phone did get knocked out. But I was able to recover it after the crash. So they work. A must buy!!!!

Fits into my car's air vents perfectly. Just just clean the grills before installing and tighten well. I made the mistake of leaving the barn dust on the grill and the holder fell off, but then I cleaned everything and tightened it properly, and it has stayed put for months now.

I have a lousy sense of direction. A car phone holder is a must have for me. My pursuit of quality made me spend a lot of money on it. When I was about to lose hope, I met HTU!! I have been using this phone holder for a week, I don't know how I managed without it. Not only does the holder have the suction and vent types of installation but also adjusts the length of the telescoping arm, the angle, and the direction of the mount. It's definitely worth over $100 if separately calculated! Oh right! The product comes with cable management, it is a great accessory in the car where one end of the cable is permanently connected. How thoughtful!! It's just that I wanted more from it than it was designed for. The terrific design and super easy operation attracted me so much! The release button is on the side of the mount. A slight press can release the phone easily. There is a designated charging port so you can always have your phone charged without the hassle of adjusting cables while navigating. The bottom cradle perfectly matches the phone so that it won't affect the charging port. Got to say, their designers designed a particularly user-friendly product! A decent size, not too big to obstruct the view or not too small for my Samsung galaxy S20. My phone cover is pretty heavy and the holder keeps it intact without moving, as the holder has strong flexible arms to adjust as per your requirements. The car holder can freely rotate at 360 which makes it more convenient to rotate to portrait or landscape. It fits well in both horizontal and vertical vents and is very stable and sturdy. The product's carbon fiber part and the telescopic arm's feeling is sooo awesome! I don't need to worry about scratching my phone any more. The phone also won't slide out. Instantly I fell in love with it!! The jaws grip the phone well and are cushioned with a nonslip material that holds the phone safely and securely. They also taper in on the front edge which means that you don't have to squash your phone in there too tightly to ensure the phone doesn't slip forward. I wanted to install the suction cup in another car, but a sad thing happened, I didn't hold it well and it fell to the ground. So sad... How helpless I was... I didn't know what to do and contact HTU service team through Amazon (sold-by-ask a question). I got the response soon. They told me that the suction cup is reusable and showed me the way to clean and reinstall it. Ask them about any problems you have. They will provide a suitable solution for you. I feel that they have a special attentive service team! If anyone encounters the same issue as mine, try this: clean the suction cup with water - after natural air dry to restore the stickiness - reinstall it. Make sure to clean the installation surface first. I gave my brother an HTU car phone mount as a gift. He loves this product! He said that it looks awesome and the suction cup is strong. Just what he wants! Thanks to HTU, my brother loves me more! Overall, this purchase is sooo surprising and satisfying! Im Rahmen einer dreiwöchigen Island-Reise mit Mietwagen hatten wir uns entschieden, Geld zu sparen und ein Mietwagen ohne eingebautes Navigationssystem zu nehmen. Da man mit Google Maps problemlos auch im Ausland navigieren kann, bestand die einzige Herausforderung darin, eine geeignete Halterung im Vorfeld zu besorgen, die universell einsetzbar ist, sich problemlos wieder entfernen lässt und nicht bei jedem kleinen Straßenloch abfällt. Auf Empfehlung hab ich die HTU Handyhalterung bestellt, noch vor dem Urlaub im eigenen Auto ausprobiert und für "perfekt geeignet" befunden: Die Montage war kinderleicht, der Saugnapf hielt unglaublich stark, und das Handy ließ sich einfach einlegen. Selbst auf kurvigen Landstraßen oder in engen Straßenzügen blieb das Handy stabil und verrutschte nicht. Besonders praktisch war die Möglichkeit, das Handy für Navigation und Musik sowohl im Hoch- als auch im Querformat zu nutzen. SPITZE!!! Das hatte ich bei meiner alten Halterung, die nach 3 Jahren ersetzt werden musste, sehr oft vermisst. Im Urlaub wurden wir dann nicht enttäuscht. Während der Reise löste sich die Halterung nicht und das Telefon wackelte auch nicht, die Navigation war völlig problemlos möglich. Am Ende der Reise konnte ich die Halterung problemlos entfernen – keine Kratzer, keine Rückstände. Für flache Armaturenbrette top geeignet, wer ein gewölbtes hat (wie bei meiner Freundin), kann die Handyhalterung problemlos von innen an die Windschutzscheibe anbringen. Tolles, wirklich durchdachtes Produkt!

A really nice car holder that is surgery and well designed. I have it clipped onto my car air vents and it fits the space great. It is designed so it can hold various phone sizes.

It's definitely sturdy and was very quick to install on my dashboard. It is a big large, so that limited my choices for where I could mount it in my car (Ford Escape) ... so the only place it fits resulted in my phone being right in my right side line of vision- creates a weird blind spot on my dashboard.... if you've got a larger/flatter dashboard with my spots to choose for mounting, the this is a good choice- just doesn't work well with my car. It definitely holds my phone in place- I drove over s bumpy gravel road 20 mins after installing and my phone didn't budge.
