Good buy
Great wok. Comes lightly pre-seasoned. I seasoned with vegetable oil before use. Easy to clean. Cooks evenly. Great for fried rice.

As Uncle Roger says, "Fuyoh!"
Great little wok, assembled very quickly after getting it, and was able to use it right away. The handle feels a little wobbly, but I just tightened the bolt down before each use to make sure it stays put. Food doesn't stick, so it makes it very easy to clean (not unlike cast iron), and the brush that comes with it is very handy for scrubbing it without ruining the wok. It's a little smaller than I would have liked, but still big enough to make fried rice for 4-ish people. Only reason for the loss of a star is the utensils that come with it: they're pretty flimsy, and two of them broke off at the handle after one use (ended up cutting my finger on the jagged metal mid-cooking). Still, the wok itself is good and we're very happy with it!

Good Quality Wok!!!
I bought it to roast coffee beans and it works amazing! I’m sure I’ll also use it to cook up some delicious stir-fries at some point! Very good quality for the price and all the utensils and the wooden cover that are included are an added plus!

Great wok
You have to season carbon steel or it will quickly rust. This is the pay off for clean, non-toxic cooking. Thankfully it’s so easy to do and you only have to do it once for a lifetime of non-toxic, non-stick cooking. If you’re unfamiliar with the process, here are some basic instructions: 1. Clean Your Wok Use warm water and dish soap to scrub your wok clean. You may want to use an abrasive sponge to completely remove the initial layer of seasoning; just not steel wool. 2. Test Your Wok to Make Sure It's Clean After you've washed your Wok for a while, use a paper towel to check for any remaining seasoning. Swipe a dry paper towel across the surface of the pan. If there's still residue on the Wok, you should keep scrubbing, but if the paper towel is clean, you can move on to the next step. 3. Heat until color change Transfer it to the stovetop heat over high flame until the wok changes color. You’re looking for a yellowish blueish hue. I expose all areas of the wok to the flame to achieve an over all color change. Place it on its sides, bottom, and turn it over. Once the color has changed all over, move on to the next step. 4. Coat Your Wok In Oil Turn Heat down to medium/low. Place a small amount of high-smoke-point oil (apx 1/2-1 teaspoon) around the interior of your wok. Using tongs, wipe dry, clean paper towels around the surface of the Wok. While it's best to use as little oil as possible, you should make sure that the Wok is fully coated in oil. Continue spreading and wiping with the paper towels until it’s fully coated in a very thin layer of oil. 5.Set the seasoning Turn on your exhaust fan and let your wok heat for 7-10 min on medium/low. 6. Wipe with clean paper towels. After the 7-10 mins is up, wipe out the entire wok with clean paper towels using tongs. You may have a black residue that wipes out of the wok. If so, repeat steps 3-6 up to three times until it wipes clean. 7. Once a clean wipe is achieved, you’ll be left with a beautifully seasoned wok ready to cook with. Wash with soft side of sponge and warm water. It’s important to completely dry it after each washing. To do so, I first dry well with paper towels, and then place on stove over high heat until almost smoking to fully dry. Once cooled, add a thin layer of oil and wipe out thoroughly with paper towels before storing. This will keep your season strong and your wok happy. Happy stir frying!

One of the worst Amazon purchases I’ve ever made
The instructions should probably tell you to not just wash the wok before you use it, but you have to season it yourself, also to be used with medium to low heat! I used the wok the first time to make a stir-fry. No amount of scrubbing or soaking could get it clean. I reached out to the seller and they sent a long message to me after I sent them the request requested. I’m pasting their message below. Please note that it says to use only on low to medium heat. “ Thank you for your reply , we have carefully reviewed the pictures you provided and understand your feelings very well. We are sorry for causing you inconvenience. The effect of hot water soaking is limited. Just soaking in hot water is not enough. You need to re-season the dish to restore the non-stick effect. We suggest you try the following steps to boil the wok: 1. Place the wok on medium-low heat until you see slight smoke. 2. Pour in the cooking oil, use a clip to hold the kitchen paper towel and apply the oil evenly, then wipe back and forth on the inner wall of the wok. 3. Keep the heat low, and slowly rub for 2-3 minutes. 4. Repeat the steps “low heat - apply oil - wipe dry” 2-3 times. 5. Remove the excess oil from the wok and continue to heat for 1 minute. 6. Turn off the heat, let the pot cool naturally, and then leave it to stand for 12 hours. 7. Rinse the pot clean before use. During use, use medium-low heat. Tip: After cooking, simply rinse with water and a soft sponge (no soap needed!), then dry and apply a thin layer of cooking oil once. Please try the above suggestions. If the problem still persists, please let us know at any time. We will provide you with assistance and services immediately. Looking forward to your reply.”

Amazing Wok at any price!
Amazing Wok at any price! I had been using a cheap one bought from Walmart. I wasn’t sure how much I’d be using it, so I didn’t want to spend too much money. The small amount I paid was a waste since the wok was made out of a cheap steel coating with a nonstick coating. Well, EVERYTHING burnt! I recently moved into a new home and now I have an electric range top. I thought I’d have better control over the heat but everything still burnt! It was so frustrating. Of course you can almost always find an amazing deal on Amazon and I decided that I wasn’t going to waste anymore money and it was time for an upgrade. The wok was a tad bit smaller than the one I had and that wasn’t really a concern. I was mainly concerned with the materials that the wok was made with and all the utensils that it came with was a pleasant bonus. The wok comes with a removable ring underneath and I was confused at first if it was to be used with a gas range but I used it with my electric and it was brilliant! The wok is too be used by raising different foods up the sides of the wok for lower temperatures and it worked like a charm. Now I can make my own fried rice anytime I want without any burns. I’m looking forward to trying other recipes with my new wok! This is definitely worth every penny. I highly recommend this to all the home chef’s! It also was a breeze to clean

Well worth the price!
I've been needing a new wok for a really long time. I’ve been using a small carbon steel 9" wok and as well as it cooks, it is just too small. So it was time for something larger. Many of the woks I was looking at were around 14" and that is just too big for a single person and I wanted something smaller. When I came across this one at 12.8", it was just what I was looking for. I also did not want to spend $100 or more for a wok. This one, including the 10 utensils and cover, came in at just over $48, tax in, with the coupon offered. Unbeatable. OK, as others have already noted in their reviews, the utensils are not the greatest quality in the world. But I can see them lasting many years if you treat them properly. Sure, if you have been cooking for any length of time, as I have, you probably have most of these in a drawer. But maybe you need a replacement for something you've had for a decade, and these will do nicely. Otherwise, you can give them to someone in need, I am sure they will be appreciated. The wok itself is very nice. It has the dimpled/hammered surface that seems to be so popular these days. When it arrived, I unpacked it, washed it out thoroughly, dried it, and even though it is pre-seasoned, gave it a thin coating of oil and into a preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove and repeat three times, cool down, a final thin coat of oil and let it sit overnight. Tonight, I gave it a test by making some General Tao/Tso chicken with some bok choy and broccoli on the side. Everything came out as good as it possibly could have. The wok heated up fast, my veggies cooked quickly, followed by the sauce and the deep-fried chicken nuggets. Nothing stuck in the slightest, everything slid around like it was floating on air. Cleanup was just as smooth. A quick rinse under hot water, a wipe with a sponge and it was done. Back on the still warm stove to dry, followed with a bit of oil, a wipe with a paper towel, I allowed the wok to sit on the burner until cool and it was ready to hang back on the wall until the next time I need it. I noticed a couple of complaints about the wooden cover that is included... I found no unusual smell coming from it, just a nice scent of wood, possibly cedar, I'm really not sure. It fits the wok perfectly and did a great job when I steamed my bok choy and broccoli at the end. I am very glad it was included. All in all, a great purchase and I expect to get years of use from it. PHOTOS: Everything out of the box. Wok inside. Wok with cover. General Tao in sauce. Bottom of wok. Bok choy and broccoli. Cleaned wok after cooking dinner.

Sharp utensils
Great woke over all. Seasoned it and it's got room to make large meals. I would give this 5 stars but the utensils are poorly made and have sharp edges to them. I cut my finger pretty good cleaning them, so be warned.

You need to season the pan if you want a good patina so that it doesn’t stick.
Love this wok! Before using it I washed with soapy water dried it and seasoned it twice (even though it said it was seasoned) It cooked beautifully. Cleaned easily after cooking in it with hot water and the wok brush that came with it. I seasoned again so that I build a really good patina. If you don’t build a patina it will stick so take a few minutes and do this step it is worth it!

Do not buy it - Product Quality Concern
I purchased this product through Amazon on December 30, 2025. After using it once, I noticed what appears to be rust. This is concerning, as it does not seem safe to use. I purchased the item expecting good quality, but its current condition poses a potential health risk to my family. I have attached a video showing the current state of the product. We have not used it again due to safety concerns.
