Great stuff
I had read some reviews that said this stuff clogged up their sprayer. The instructions say 2 to 5 oz per gallon (4 to 10 measured Tbsp's). I used 5 Tbsp's. And I shook it up alot. At first the spray was coming very slowly and would just stop altogether after a few minutes. I was thinking this was gonna take forever to cover everything. And I ended up taking apart the sprayer 3 times to clean it which was messy and frustrating. Then finally somehow I realized that I needed to press very hard on the sprayer button to get the spray coming out with good pressure. Once I discovered this I was able to really cover a large area pretty quickly. So I would say that often the problem is the sprayer. These $10 pump sprayers are often unreliable and always fail after any liquid is left in the sprayer for some time. Now I always empty out the sprayer after each use. Also, the water from my hose which I used with the mulch dye was very warm which probably helps the dye to mix well. But like I said, once I found that pressing hard on the button got the spray coming out nicely I completed the job pretty quickly and was amazed by the results. This stuff really does make the mulch look new again and the color is an exact match. I only used half the max strength recommended. And the instructions suggest going back over it 2 or 3 times a few minutes after each pass. But I just did one pass and thats all it needed to make it new again. And the mulch was pretty worn out. I think it was 15 months since it was last replenished. Every year for the last 10 years I would buy 20 bags just to make it look new again. I used about one quater of the bottle to cover the area. So I estimate that this bottle will last me 4 years, covering the equivelant of 80 bags of mulch. Mulch was currently $3 a bag at HomeDepot, though we have another garden center here in FL selling $2.25 a bag. So for 80 bags would cost $200 to $250 with tax. This dye costs $25, so great bang for your buck. And its saving you some work too of loading, unloading and spreading bags of mulch. Spray the mulch and cleaning the sprayer can also take some time I dont think its quite as much work as the mulch bags, so long your sprayer is working good. I would test out your sprayer before use with just water to make sure its working good before using the dye. Great stuff.

Mulch paint for sprayer
Need to add a little less water than they stay. But the color is great only waited to write review to see how the color looks after a couple of months an itโs still the same. Saves going back to buy mulch all the time.

50/50 on quality
I used the brown and red once before and it painted the mulch great. Gave it very rich color so i ordered the red again but this time if didnt paint at all, sucks because i really loved it the first time.

Wood chip mulch dye
This dye sprays great out of a handheld sprayer making your wood chips look new. Instead of replacing chips yearly, you can get at least 2 years out of your chips making them look new the 2nd year. Easy to spray. Highly recommended!

Money saver!
I use rubber mulch year-round, and only use this once every three or four years to re-spray. It works beautifully and soaks into the rubber. It usually takes about four years to start fading and that is when I reapply. Itโs definitely a money saver!
