Robin 1: The Lazarus Tournament

Damian Wayne is not the most likeable character. Few writers have gotten him right. Peter J Tomasi was the best, but now I think Joshua Williamson is just as good. This is a very heart filled and emotional story. My favorite moment was when Nightwing said " you were my Robin". Also a lot of interesting new characters. The art by Glen Melnikov was great, didn't care for Jorge Corona. All in all, one of the best series from DC that I have read in awhile.

This tpb starts the Lazarus Tournament. It leads directly into The Shadow War crossover which has recently ended. The artwork and writing is top notch. If you aren't hooked by the last panel of the first issue, then I have no words.Joshua Williamson needs to stay on Robin forever. Or at least for a huge run. Read this! It is like The Hunger Games if twisted by the Leagues.

This book was solid. Damien is a very good character that is developing into his own person. He has come a long way and I love him for that.

The book came in great condition. I love Damien Wayne and this story so far is very engaging. Finished this volume in a day.

If you like mortal kombat, you’ll probably really like this book. Surprisingly warming and wicked fun. A good read and can’t wait for the next one

I love how it’s both serious and lite hearted at the same time. You get this series of struggles that Damian faces and you also still see a superhero complex with him more than a super villain complex. I give this a 10/10 amazing art work the whole way through.

I really enjoyed this book. I almost finished not buy it as I really find Damian annoying. The fact is I am glad that everyone in the book also finds him annoying I think Ravager summed him up perfectly.Damian Wayne has ghosted all his friends and the Bat-family. However he is in touch his mother. There he discovers another secret set of the League of Assassins. What better way to prove himself to his mother then entering a tournament with fights to the death. I have to admit if there person I don't mind getting put in his place (and getting beaten up it is Damian.A decent story with lots action, and decent artwork. Also lots of guest stars. The book finishes with a couple sketches and a varient cover gallery.

Fazia muito tempo que não me divertia tanto lendo um título da DC Comics.Esta série do Robin (Damian Wayne) é excelente, tem uma vibe que lembra aqueles mangas com torneio de artes marciais, introduz novos(?) personagens, como Flatline entretém do início ao fim.Mal posso esperar para ler o vol. 2.

È impossibile non adorare questo comic, Robin in un torneo della morte? Ci sta eccome! Persino ha fatto dei nuovi amici! Comunque il libro è arrivato in ottime condizioni, nessuna pagina piegata male o qualcosa del genere e le pagine a fondo pagina, con i disegni dei personaggi e le diverse cover, veramente le ho sempre adorate in queste versioni integrali dei comics.
