Could anyone explain the install of the line for the hot air balloon. The counter weight and the balloon both move in the same direction on mine.

The cord to the counter weight is rapped the opposite way to the cord going to the ballon, as one winds up the other winds out (balloon goes up, weights go down)

Does the clock run continuously once started or only for a limited period?

I think if it ran continuosly, it would disobey the laws of thermodynamics, so..unfortunately...no.

What is the length of the clock, including the weught at its lowest point?

length 136cm wide 38cm this clock needs your full attention keep eyes on the line up dots and hang dead level or it will not work
