FROGG TOGGS Men's Ultra-lite2 Waterproof Breathable Rain Jacket, Blue, X-Large

I bought this jacket for a hike in Mount Rainier national park just in case it rained. It rained for three straight days. This jacket with my light fleece under it kept my upper body warm and dry. I didn’t opt for the rain pants but used a rain kilt instead. I am very happy with the weight and performance. It has a loose fit which helps with ventilation. I live in Utah so for most hikes I don’t need a raincoat. If I lived in the Northwest I would invest in an expensive raincoat for hiking but for my purpose this was just right. I highly recommend this with the caveat that you should not expect durability. Light, cheap and effective is a good characterization.

Off to Iceland in February (snow, rain), realized the light rain jacket which is fine for Texas would be a tight fit over my warm coat. This is a big improvement; waterproof seams and zipper, packs small and light enough to add to a day pack, no problem. Reviews and FroggToggs said these were sized generously, and I agree. I usually wear a size Large coat, and this jacket, size large, fits wonderfully loosely over my size large coat. Sturdy zipper, snug hood. Inner surface has a comfortable pebbled surface. Don't worry the low price means shoddy construction; for carrying along and keeping the rain off, this is a good choice.

Waterproof for sure. Only complaint is materiel is stiff.

Excellent rain jacket, light weight, folds into pouch for easy carry. Saved the husband from being soaked on a rain trip to New Orleans.

Repels rain, but when they say ultra lite they mean it. I barely rubbed a cardboard box walking through a store and it tore a huge hole in the sleeve.

The jacket is extremely lightweight, but way too thin. I had to go to the hospital for a doctor visit. They make you wear a sticker that shows you as being checked in. When I went to remove the sticker, it pulled the outside material of the jacket off leaving a white mark. My other complaint that it doesn't have pockets.

This rain jacket is awesome. Unfortunately I had to wait until it rained to really review it. It works great! People who have seen it are blown after about the "ultra-lite" feature. Love the company name also. My only negative comment is the lack of pockets and that is a very minor complaint. It is very well made and if they come out with one with pockets, I would purchase it.

Not recommend product. Poor quality and no refunds available for this product. Don’t buy. I wasted my money. It is kind of cheaters.

Much smaller than expected. It also isn't very packable as it wrinkles badly. It's also isnt very breathable. I wanted to use this for work (outdoors) underneath a uniform jacket because it doesn't have a hood, but the combination is far too warm and sweaty. The colour is also significantly lighter than shown. It's not quite completely useless for me, but it's close.

The material is paper thin and is light weight so it can be compacted into a small bundle. It's waterproof but not very breathable. It's bigger than the usual size (L) so I can wear a warmer jacket underneath. Let's hope it will last longer than a couple of years.
