Bonne expansion
C'est une bonne expansion du jeu. Au debut je suggére d'acheter les expansions Deluxe et cette expansion plus petite.Le jeux Lord of the rings est impressionant comme graphique et mécanique du jeu.Il est un peu compliqué.

Trolls, Trolls, and More Trolls!
Following Gollum the heroes suddenly find themselves in the middle of a brawl with a group of trolls. A lot of trolls. The second Adventure Pack in the Shadows of Mirkwood cycle. It threw players for a loop when it was released on August 10, 2011. It has a truly brutal quest that can easily overwhelm you. So how are the player cards? What rating is the quest? Let’s go player card by card. Rating scale is 0 – 5.*Frodo Baggins (5) He’s awesome. Spirit’s defense is not the best so he is fantastic at defending. Also how thematically cool is he? Putting on the one ring to save himself. He’s a little weak sure. But he is a hobbit.*Longbeard Map-Maker (3) Deceptively weak when you first look at him. But then when you realize he can become a crazy strong quester you can give him a solid rating.*A Burning Brand (5) Makes any Lore character a defensive beast. Works incredibly well with Denethor. A must have card for the game.*Dunedain Warning (3) It’s ok. One defense is nothing to shake your head at. I personally haven’t used it a ton though.*Second Breakfast (2) Probably better than the Hammersmith, but it’s pretty situational. If it wasn’t just the top card of the discard pile then it would be much better. As it is, it’s forgettable.*Born Aloft (2) Works with Gandalf pretty well. But once again, kind of situational. Is it worth including three copies in your deck?*Beorning Beekeeper (1) Meh. It’s got a neat damage effect. But it’s way too expensive.*Eomund (2.5) Unless you are making a Rohan deck, he isn’t terribly exciting.*Nor am I a Stranger (0) No. Completely situational. With one situation. As of this pack in the card pool, it is worthless. It might have changed since then but I am buying the packs in order. And it kind of sucks.*Song of Wisdom (5) All the songs are five stars. That’s because they allow resource fixing. This is the one which gives a Lore icon.*Conflict at the Carrock Quest (5) A challenge to be sure. If you don’t keep your threat low, or use other tricks, you can find yourself overwhelmed and destroyed by the four different unique trolls. They are strong alone and brutal together. The players also have to contend with the Sacked! Treachery. You do get a really sweet ally in Grimbeorn the Old though. In my opinion this is a must buy adventure pack even if you don’t like the quest. Frodo, Burning Brand, and Song of Wisdom all make this pack epic. I strongly recommend buying it. Two thumbs up.

Good cards and a challenging 2 player quest
Break down of what it comes with - The new hero card is Frodo Baggins. Comes with 10 new cards, 3 copies of 9 cards and then just one singular new card (an attachment/ally card). The encounter cards feature a mix of all card types. The new scenario is pretty unique as well. The one singular new card is an attachment but becomes an ally after you put 10 resources on him. He is a troll hunter and he can defend against the 4 troll bosses in the new encounter deck without becoming exhausted. So he's a definite must have when you advance to part 2 of this 2 part quest. Now as for the quest itself, It's a must have 2 player quest. It's impossible to beat solo. My tips would be not to advance to part 2 of the quest right away. Instead do just enough to match the encounter deck during questing and simply build up resources and cards, You want your heroes/allies to be as strong as possible going into part 2. Once you start part 2, All 4 trolls come into play. They have 2 defense, 10 HP each, and they each get +1 attack (for a total of 5) when they engage you if there is more than 1 troll in play. So the best way to take them down is to boost the defense of the troll hunter so he can engage them all and not take any damage and then use your heroes to take each troll down one at a time. Also having a lot of allies, no matter how weak, in play would help to absorb some of the attacks from other enemies drawn from the encounter deck.Overall, This is a great pack. The new cards are pretty good and the quest is a nice 2 player challenge. It's gonna be a tough card pack to beat from the top spot of the Shadows of Mirkwood cycle.

Ouch
If you want to fight uber enemies who can crush your forces in one round, then look no further. This one is all about combat, and the trick is when to take the plunge. Good luck
