I ordered this non-nano zinc oxide to make homemade sunscreen for my daughter, and I’m beyond happy with it! Here’s the simple SPF 30 sunscreen recipe I used (shown in my photo!): 👉 2 tbsp shea butter 👉 2 tbsp coconut oil 👉 1 tbsp beeswax — melt together 👉 Let it cool a bit, then add: 👉 1 tsp red raspberry seed oil 👉 1 tsp calendula oil 👉 2 drops chamomile essential oil 👉 Slowly mix in 2 tbsp non-nano zinc oxide This makes an approx. SPF 30 sunscreen that’s safe for kids and works great! Plus — it smells so good thanks to the natural oils. I got it to make some home made sunscreen. I think it'll take a bit of tweaking to my original formula but the product itself is great. exactly what I was expecting.

Used this for homemade sunscreen. It works well and is a good natural product.

I used the powder to make my own dusting powder which included the zinc oxide, white kaolin clay powder, arrowroot powder and essential oils. Let's just say that the result was MAGICAL! Zinc oxide has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which are very beneficial for the skin. I found Sky Organics powder to be very fine and silky to the touch. On the side of caution if you decide to make your own dusting powder, make sure you follow directions for each product's use. The same goes for essential oils. Enjoyment of these products depends on using them responsibly.

I've been using this zinc oxide powder to make my own moisturizing sunscreen. I simply add 5 tsps of zinc oxide powder to a 1/2 cup of moisturizer. It makes a 30-50 SPF lotion.
