Because it's military grade, it's extremely tough and looks to have a water resistant coating. Bags that are MADE for metal detecting all seem to have their shortfalls, or they're outrageously expensive. This 'USMC marked' bag is basic and put together well. Being a 'molle' vest, I can always add a pouch or two if I find that it's needed, or even another one of these. I also own a molle drop leg holster that I'll use for my hand tool. Both the vest and the pouch were very inexpensive, and saving money is always good!

It's a big old roomy sack with a pinch cinch cord AND A STRONG QUICK CLIP COVER that protects and snugs it all down It is equipped with quality molle straps and holds a TON . It contains now my ENTIRE kitchen, stove , fire starters, food, spices, utensils cook pot , packs of mustard ketchup on and on and still has space . If you are savvy , you can get 3 days of hiking food and everything to cook with in THIS BAG. I can't say enough about it. Spray it down for extra water protection with tent spray or Scotch guard you are good to go 1000 uses you can even strap it to your pants belt as a day hike bag . I'm buying more for camping storage , great sleeping bag sack too. Great gift at a great price for the outdoorsy person who has everything . Incredible value. Get a few you just can't go wrong . These bags are top notch I have three of them I use them for bushcraft two years of use almost every weekend fall winter and spring and they still look new washed a few times they are tough bags

It arrived with no problems perfect it just has a strange smell at first but it goes away a if you leave it outside or in a well ventilated area

Fantastic value for money. Not particularly good for organisation of small odds and ends but you can stuff it with smaller dry bags or bits of kit and it works perfectly. Material seems sturdy and stitching is perfectly adequate.

I have now bought two of these. They are stitched well, pack well, and the top seals the bag well. I would buy again.
