I have to admit, for $40 I was skeptical but took the chance! I have been working from home since March of last year using my kitchen table as a desk and it was time to do something about my "new" working conditions! I am VERY happy with this desk. It is stylish, sturdy and offers enough surface space for my laptop, notepad, etc. All parts were received in great condition, not missing anything. Directions very easy to follow and took about 30 minutes to put it together. Highly suggest this desk for anyone who needs something simple yet stylish, and does not want to spend a fortune.

You won't find a better price to quality value for a desk this size . I care more about quality over saving a few, so I wanted a real wood desk, but most were too big for the space I have. I saw this for $40, under 40in and it at least looked like emulated wood, at least it could be a stand in til I got a better desk if it was bad. Well, it's actually not bad. The pressed wood came perfect with corner protectors on it. Top is smooth with faint long lines for a textured look and no jagged edges or laminate peel like some poorly pressed board items. The burnished wood look is nice looking and even looks real from a few feet away in a dim room. I don't see the laminate coming off anytime soon but I'd recommend getting a drink coaster or table mat if you plan to eat on it. The box said Songmics, same brand as my piano stool. I'm not sure if they own vasage or what. The metal legs are hollow and not super sturdy, a few also had visible rust dust so it was clearly packaged by vasage that way. Alignment and screw holes seem pretty even. The table does have some shake to it and considering thickness being only 1/2 inch, I would NOt use this table as an anchor for a monitor arm and instead put it directly onto table. Despite thinness, it is sturdy due to the 4 metal bars/legs installed along table edges that form a brace. It seems like it could handle a full size pc's weight, I just wouldn't try to sit on it. All parts were labeled and takes only15min to build if you follow instructions to a T. I like that the table has connecting bars along back and sides abt 3in from floor which adds a free footrest and needed for anyone shorter than 6ft using a gaming chair like me. Come to think of it, most footrests cost more than this desk, so it is a good deal. If it lasts more than 6months I'll consider it money well spent.

I bought this for my home work desk and I’m very happy with it. It looks great with plenty of space for my dual monitors, a good size keyboard and for the normal desk accessories of staplers and small organizer for pens and such. Its a good height, sturdy and doesn’t take up too much space. I do really like this brand as it’s a great value and very nice looking.

Super easy to assemble even though it doesn’t come with written instructions. Feels sturdy enough to put quite a bit of weight on it. I’d be confident with putting a printer on top for example.

This desk looks great and was easy to assemble. Just what I was looking for.
