It’s the pool vacuum pole I’ve ever had. I’ve had it for several years now and I’ve had no problems whatsoever. I love the ease in which you can slide the extender out and it locks in place with clips or buttons and there’s no twisting anything to hold in place. It’s just a very solid a very durable pole make no doubt about it should be the only pool pole you ever have. It should last forever. I’ve had other Vacuum poles they’ll bend, especially when they’re full extended extended part 10 to band and try to slide it back together and it’s really a pain not with this device.

I am a seasoned Pro Tuff fan due to the many years I have used their pool nets. The silt net is my absolute favorite when it comes time to clean up the grass clippings after mowing the yard. Their durability is phenomenal. They keep working even when they look worn out and rugged. And then ... their warranty is above and beyond the best! I've had my eye on the telescoping pool pole for some time but I couldn't justify the price until they offered the "tariff discount". I went ahead and splurged and am soooo glad I did. It's a bit heavier than the 14' steel pole I was using, but that just seems to make it work harder and clean the pool better. Being able to change the length with the push of a button is amazing! Spend the money on this, you will not regret as it makes the cheap blue poles with plastic fittings that come with pools look like junk. Long time pool owner and after 30 years and two pools of struggling with the blue telescopic poles I broke down and bought this one. It’s so much better, stronger and easier to operate, wish I would have found these sooner.

PROTUFF Poles are simply, excellent. Their pole & slide lock is properly weighted and an easy to use. And, if you suffer from rheumatoid arthritis or similar you will enjoy their lock system. WARRANTY. They stand behind their product. No, I have not had problems per se, but after 5 years and even with care, parts wear paticularly if you are spending good money on a good product, you use it. 100% I placed the claim and then the replacement came, quickly. Protuff is recommended if you understand pools and are frustrated with bending, breaking and sticking parts. They belive in their "490 Promise" and that alone is refreshing.

This is the BEST pool cleaning pole that I’ve ever used. It doesn’t slip in length while you’re using it. It’s easy to adjust and you don’t need to tighten a knurled nut with your wet hand, which will not get tight enough to keep the length constant. The length locks into where you set it and it STAYS there. Then it’s easy to release. Rather than loosen a wet knurled nut that you had tightened as much as you possibly could previously, just press two buttons and it releases. This pole has improved the quality of my life! Well, almost. I TOTALLY recommend it. (I was not compensated for this review in any way.)

I haven't gotten to use it in the pool yet, but I can already tell I will love it. My old pool poles (all 3 of them!) would not stay adjusted to the length I set. I don't know for sure if it is because the locking rings got weak, or I don't have the hand strength to crank it tight enough. But when I put pressure down while brushing the pool bottom, it would slide shorter. Very frustrating. I can tell that will be impossible for that to happen with this pole because of how the adjustments lock in. And it is so easy to change the length. I'm gonna love it!!!

I love this pool utility pole. It’s amazing. It is effortless and so well made, I actually enjoy using it. Yes, a little pricey. But I’ve had a pool in my life for about forty years and this pole is the single best one I’ve ever had the luxury of owning. Simply said, this is the best and I’d highly recommend it.

Broke in less than a year. The pole itself is sturdy, but the cheap plastic that holds the two pieces together is garbage. It is stuck shut and therefore useless.UPDATE: the company has a good warranty and I received a new one. Subtracting one star for the hassle of having to buy a cheap pole in the interim. Like I said the pole is sturdy, and the company sticks by their product.
