I love this product for my ferrets. This was one of the food items that was listed high quality on Holistic Ferret Forum. Its a great recipe for cats, but ferrets also can like it and eat it as well. does not reek and healthy ingredients. I will purchase this again!

My cat is so picky at 15 years old and this is one of the few treats The vet allows. She lives for these streets. They are stinky, but she loves them and they’re healthier for her.

I have a very finicky young cat who refused to eat any wet food- she was getting to heavy for a young cat - someone told me to try Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Raw Cat Dinner morsels and surprisingly she is now eating wet food!!! I just added a tablespoon of water and mixed the dry morsels- she seems to love the taste! It's a but expensive and I wish they had larger bags but at least I can get her off the dry food now.

Cats got bored of it quick but easy to work with

My cat isn’t typically picky- we found him as a kitten in a Disneyland parking lot, so he’s kind of a laid back, carefree guy who will eat almost anything (he loves turkey legs and churros, but that’s not sustainable). The problem is, nothing excited him, food-wise. He always seemed to be intensely bored with both his kibble and his wet food lol. The only thing that ever interested him was when we opened of a can of tuna, and we know that’s not good for him. Getting home from In n Out the other day, I watched as my cat strolled over to his bowl, maintaining eye contact with me the entire time (maybe glancing at the bag in my hand for emphasis), and the look on his face very clearly said, “In n Out? Seriously? But for me this kibble stuff AGAIN? What. Ever.” So I decided to look for something that would give him some food joy, and $10 was definitely not too much to spend in my quest. SHOCKING results. Like you know when you order something weird on Amazon and you can imagine both the best and the worst possible outcomes? This was the best possible- plus a rainbow and a unicorn. My cat LOVES this food. He is sitting outside of my bedroom door right now staring at me, something he hasn’t done a lot since he was young (don’t miss it that much tbh), waiting for his breakfast. He also follows me to the kitchen, tries to redirect me if I get distracted, and puts both paws up on the cupboard door and talks to me when he knows I’m rehydrating the chicken. I obviously can’t be certain, but I think what he’s saying is, “It’s about time! Real food! thank you thank you thank you! I love you so much!” Is this magic? Totally worth $10! We put a few in water and let them sit for a minute, then use a fork to break them up to a consistency that looks a lot like cooked ground turkey. If there’s extra water, my cat thinks it’s gravy, and he laps that up, which is also good for hydration. No smell! I believe some people felt the price was too high, but we only use 3 or 4 of the nuggets for our huge beast of a cat. Once re-hydrated, we mix it with his kibble to help slow down his eating (because he was totally scarfing this stuff at first). The $10 bag has lasted a week, and there’s plenty left. This is one of those purchases I felt obligated to write a review for, because the world is a really stupid place, and we all need to stick together and share the genuinely good (not being paid to say that, I have no stake in this), just really good, stuff :) :)

A couple days ago I bought eight 1-ounce bags (it's less than the real 8-ounce bag) and my cats wouldn't touch them. Then I noticed the chicken smell I'd normally have to wash off my hands was also gone. This new batch was paler (one on right in picture), more uniform, and reeked of rancidity plus something chemical like what I'd smell walking through a home improvement store. I bought two more 1-ounce bags elsewhere and they had the usual chicken smell and were darker. Both sets were in the same usual thick bags, with mid-2027 expiration dates, but the first EIGHT bags smelled chemical. Either there's a manufacturing compromise, or they've reformulated to something cheaper, a tale sadly as old as time. Regardless, we're done. It's time to move on to another freeze dried treats company.

I started using this as a replacement for wet food twice a day (rehydrated of course) and it has improved both of my Maine coon kitten’s digestion and litter box habits! I love that the food doesn’t smell super strong and it breaks down in water pretty easily. Poops have better form and are less stinky too. They’re excited to eat it which makes me happy. They also really enjoy the dry kibble version of this food! Please note that they literally would not even taste the rabbit version of this...weird because they’re not usually picky!

I have tried as treats and I have tried it with water to soften them and make gravy. No go. My cats are not interested. Chicken is something that they will usually eat so I tried that one first. Disappointing for the cost that none of these are anything my cats will eat.

It is a bit high in fats for my hedgie, but I hive him one morsel every few days and he just can't stop eating it. The more I give, the more he eats. I will soon order a second pack.

i've bought 2 bags of this food so far and i will be buying another one. this is by far my cats favorite food and sometimes i crumble it on other foods to entice him to eat it. he goes absolutely feral for it!

The delivery was fast and packet well. Also, the packaging of the products with respect to freshness was really amazing as most of the products imported from other companies has a short expiration date but its not with this product. A bit on expensive side and i will surely buy again in future if seller provides an exclusive discount or any rebate which will again be appreciated.

This is amazing food, EXPENSIVE but so worth it for me at least and i really trickle it so as for it to last ! Thank you Stella and Chewy for making my precious angels happy with your amazing food!
