Good coverage, colour and protection
The colour was slightly lighter than I expected but it looks really nice (Country Oak), more of a dark chocolate brown, for some reason I thought it would be almost black. It looks a little thin in the can and can drip as you brush it on but it covers really well which is slightly surprising as it looks thin. The weather hasn't been great and I lack spare time but with one good thick coat and a light touch up where it showered early this morning it looks great! I was thinking I would need a second or third coat but it looks good enough. I always like to slap it on get the wood well covered so may be it is my technique. I did put some news paper down to catch the drips / splatter. I used cloves but managed to get my hands splattered, a good sign of the wood protection is the fact that it was fairly difficult to wash it off my hands. It's like another layer of skin so I feel confident it will protect my new fence and gate. For a thin looking preservative it sure does do a good job. I guess being thin means it soaks well into the wood... If you are brushing near a patio area be sure to place some newspaper with bricks or stones near by as the brush will probably splatter.

Excellent wood preserver - best I’ve ever used.
The best fence wood preserver BY FAR !!! Super easy to apply and outstanding results with one coat. I jet washed the wood clean, applied a fungicide, waited a couple of days until everything was bone dry and then applied one coat by brush. Extremely happy with the results. Yes, it’s more expensive but definitely worth it and greats value.

Best outdoor wood treatment
Used this for many years. Excellent and does what it says on the tin. Best wood preservative on the market in my opinion.

Excellent fence paint.
Very fast delivery. This paint has kept my fencing looking good for years. I apply a fresh coat every five years. It doesn't peel or flake and keeps rot at bay.

Good wood stain, not cheap but worth it!
Paint (wood stain) itself is great, though in the end had to be purchased from a local retailer as delivery failed twice on this platform, with 2 different suppliers. Cuprinol is a great brand. Pricy, but you get what you pay for. I’ve used the red cedar on a sunroom for years, and it does a fantastic job, with great longevity. If you ‘miss a year’ or two! It still wont take much to touch up and look good. I’ve not tried leaving it for more than 5 but suspect it’d still look good. Coverage is good but does need a few coats. But well worth the initial effort for long term easy maintenance. Green (once I actually got some) is now on and looks great.
