These kilner jars are a great size and very sturdy all over . They have a strong fastening clasp , being square they fit well in a cupboard or on a shelf . They hold plenty . I’m would recommend these jars and would purchase again

If you know the Kilner brand, you know it stands for quality and these jars are no exception. They are a great size to store large quantities and the tight seal should keep the contents fresh for a long time to come. The large top opening makes it easy to keep each jar clean and they have a sturdy feel in the hand (as do most Kilner products). Great value for money for storing food goods.

Dry good and trusted storage jars with thick glass and replaceable seals.

Having had some mites in my flour, I've now started again with new flour and it's all enclosed in these jars. They are not big enough for a 1.5Kg bag unfortunately, but mostly once I've started a bag then the remainder goes in the jar - haven't actually measured how much - around 1Kg I think. At the moment I attach the original bag to the jar with an elastic band so that I can still easily see use by dates and protein levels etc. I might end up labelling them properly, but I still swap and change my flours a lot. They are quite big and heavy to handle and I wouldn't really like to have had them much bigger, so I'm happy with them. I plan on buying more.

A good looking product that will actually last a lifetime. The glass is dishwasher safe, although the rubber seals aren't. I highly recommend.

You just can't fault Kilner. I love them and my cupboards love them too!
