Presto Tater Twister Curly Cutter

My mother bought me one in the seventies and I have used it up until recently when the plastic cracked. Never thought I would find another. Love it.

OMG what is not to love about this product. Do you love spiral or curly cut potato frys,, zucchini, sweet potatoes, you do, well you have to have this Presto TaterTwister. It will simplify your life. No more slaving to get that perfect spiral or curly French fry. Potatoes, are not expensive, you can even freeze them, after you spiralize or do your curly frys.It comes with two disk,, for the spiral or curly French fries. Very easy to operate, read instructions included, so very easy, i was very impress with this gadget. Now, i was very skeptical about buying an item like this that said Used Good Condition, until it came in, i was a nervous wreck. I tell you we looked this thing over my husband and i, and gave it the three time over check. I could not believe it, but my worries were for no reason, this Presto TaterTwister, had not one blemish on it, no dents on it, and no food residue on it, looked brand spanking new. I was happy. And no marks on it of any kind. We washed it good before it's first use. We did a batch of curly frys, in my Air Fryer, i seasoned them good, i have my secret seasonings for French fries, and in 20 min, we had delicious hot, crunch on the outside, tender on the inside, curly potato French fries.. Next night we did the Spiral potato frys,, and they come out equally good, and were really spiralize, i am impress with this gadget, making life so much easier. Easy to use, get store bought looking, or restaurant quality looking French frys, from this one Presto TaterTwister. Washes up so easily. No problem at all, we cut a little bit of the top of the potato before putting it in the twister, and before you know it, you have your slices ready to go. If you love potatoes, you need this Presto TaterTwister. it Will make life a bit easier for you. Very happy with this purchase, no need to worry about the Used Condition, Good, because mine really looks brand spanking new, and i saved a bundle on it.What i like is that you do not get thin spiralized frys you get 1/4" slices. An easier way to prepare your scalloped potatoes with this Presto TaterTwister. I highly recommend this product, and what a price i got it for.

It’s exactly as advertised. Shipped the same day I ordered it. Received it quickly. Works perfectly. I’m already making curly fries as I write this. All the nostalgia from using this as a child. Just perfect!

If I could put 0 star I would it came in and doesn’t work. Not before I have everything ready including oil to cook them heating up plugging it up then, it would not come on. Would love the seller to contact me to make it right.

love this for curly fries, got a new one because after years of use I dropped it and broke the outer plastic shell die glue it for a while because can't get these easily,

After 'spiralized' veggies got cool I had purchased an official "Spiralizer" apparatus. I love zucchini and squash prepared like this but I've tried 3 different manual "Spiralizers" and they are all so labor intensive, hard to use, time consuming, and pretty junky quality. For several years I kept thinking in the back of my mind... if only Mom would give me her old TaterTwister, but alas she was not willing to part with it (for good reason). Found a used TaterTwister here and like it. It came in pretty great shape, all pieces there. The "Curly" blade makes perfect 1/4" slices in potatoes, as well as zucchini & yellow summer squash. Yayyyyy! This is a thicker cut than a "Spiralizer" does but it cooked wonderfully, and less soggy than thinner zoodles! Only down side for me is the flat "spiral" blade housing is fairly brittle plastic after so many years sitting in the box, one of the clips that holds it in the presser housing broke off immediately, but it still works. It used to take more time to spiralize the squashes than it took to cook them. Now I can zip through them in a fraction of the time.

It's hard to find a curly fry cutter that will make a thicker fry. This one works great and I would definitely purchase it again.
