I'm 6 foot 5 inches tall and 240 lbs and purchased size 38. They fit fine in the waste and just above the knee.

Why does the price vary by color?

Largely due to surplus. I got mine in khaki which is not a bad color for only 13 bucks. Every brand needs to offload their summer products before fall rolls in or else they’re stuck with it. Same with every season.
