It’s really based off your curves. I’m 5’3 126lbs but I ordered small & med, & I prefer med cause I have lots of curves. The small restricted my waist too much. And forcing them to stretch will undo the seams at the booty.

5’3 30 in waist 42 in hips should I get a large or XL?

I’m about the same size. And size Medium was perfect. Has a great stretch to it. Good fabric as well. Xl will be too loose. If anything get a large to be comfortable.
