Present for a fisherman
Bought as a birthday gift for a sea fisherman- It’s got to be easier to fillet a fish on this? Surely! He’s never seen one before.... The clip to hold the fish tail was very strong and the fish scaler was good quality too.

Helps When Filleting Crappie
The wooden board is nice and flat on the bottom, which is critical for using this thing safely. I filleted six crappie with it the other day, and it worked nicely. The clamp is nice and strong, and it really helps to keep the fish's head in place while I worked the knife. My only concern is that the clamp is attached to the board via four staples, so long term durability at the attachment point might be a problem. But right now, it's great!
