TONMA 7.5" Garden Scissors, Made in Japan, Pruning Shears & Clippers, TP-3

I was holding out on ordering a new pruner, hoping the Felco brand would go on sale. After reading a few reviews for this one, I decided to give it a shot and I'm just sad I waited so long! This pruner is great quality, and the size is perfect for a smaller (women's) hand! I got these in December and had already done most of my tree pruning, but I went out and did some random clipping just to try them out. The cutting action is superb, very sharp blades and nice tight alignment. This appears to be top-quality in all aspects, and an extra spring was included, since that's probably the only thing that will wear out. I'm hoping to get years of use from this pruner, and the price was great. There is nothing worse than having a tool that isn't sharp and holding together, especially when you have "older" hands, so I'm really happy I got this! Don't waste your money on cheap gardening tools, especially when you can get great quality for almost the same price!

These are my favorite pruners by far. I've been using them constantly for a few years. Easy to keep sharp. I use them so much that the rubber stopper cushion where the two handles meet wore out. I contacted Tonma and, because the little cushions weren't available at the time, they sent me a brand new pruner. I am completely satisfied and would definitely purchase this product again.

We saw some YouTube videos where these specifically were recommended so we tried one. These are worth the money and deserve the reviews and referrals! Best hand-held gardening shears we have or have ever had. Does everything you'd expect shears to do (comfortable, locking, etc.). And more! They are very sharp and the cutting action is smooth. If you need good shears, these will be hard to beat.

Nice hand feel. Solid maker of pruners, and I like this bypass pair (i have the anvil style as well, and like it better) but next time i would be sure to get a pair with the coating on the blade because sap quickly builds and causes them to stick and not spring open after the cut. Other issue is i suspect they use the high carbon steel that can sharpen better but that is less durable - I dropped them and the edge of the blade got a ding that made the opening and closing "sticky" (which I mostly eliminated with extra sharpening, but there is still a tiny divot).

I have so many pruners accumulated over the years, this time I paid more for supposedly a better quality. Well, after 5 months of HARD use, I say BRAVO. Still cuts nice and sharp and clean despite the heavy work load. I'll look for same or similar when I purchase some lopping shears this spring.

We have two properties with lots of plants and probably spend more time doing yardwork than anything else. What is it with plants, they seem to keep growing! These pruners work well and are high quality. We liked the first one so well we bought two more. Although there are many cheaper options (which we've bought) these work smoothly and are strong but don't tire the hand as much as the cheaper ones. Plus, we expect they'll last a lot longer, but we've only had for a year so can't say from experience.

Quality prunes. My husband is so happy with them. I would order same ones over and over.

Lovely design and easy to use. High quality steel and super sharp. Easily cuts through half inch shrub and tree branches. Smaller size than usual allows access to tight areas. Highly recommend these and price very good
