My dog approves of this product. She loves the crunchy texture. Her eyes get very wide with excitement when she sees her good girl treat. The price is steep but the quality is excellent, pure, not loaded with chemicals to slowly poison my animal, so I pay little extra for my expectations. It's a once in awhile treat and sometimes I break into little pieces to make skins last longer. Since fish is excellent for animals, I splurge. I will buy another bag when I run out. I will justify price because of quality.

My dogs LOVE these skins! I had been purchasing Polka’s skins in small cylinders, but it’s expensive to buy them that way. They’re much cheaper by the bag. When Amazon shipped this item along with some heavier items, I worried that the haddock skins would be broken. But, Polka Dog Bakery packs the 1 lb. bag inside a sturdy box. So, no breakage! This is a cost effective way of buying haddock skins & the quality’s the same as the small container.

Ordered this to try after an unsuccessful run in with some very smelly other brand of cod skins! These are amazing - they smell like they should - FISH! Bonus - MADE IN THE USA!

Clear plastic Package was smashed but the fish chews were unharmed. My dog loves these treats.

My dog loves these, as well as the dried cod skins. Better yet is how they help maintain healthy teeth and gums. I have used tooth-cleaning powder on occasion, but I credit the fact that I have never had to get my 10-year-old dog's teeth cleaned to Polka Dog dried fish skins.

These are good quality fish skins and my miniature poodles love them. However, the scales were left on the fish skins. This caused scales to be throughout their play area when given these as treats (constant vacuuming and washing) as well as tangled in their hair. This was my first time trying these and I won't be purchasing again; they're just not a good fit for me and my fur-babies. Would I recommend them to others, yes but with a caveat due to the excessive amount of fish scales.

My dogs have been wild about Polka Dog Bakery Cod skins, but this is a more affordable dog treat. They love these just as much. The pros are that they're lower in cost, have no bones attached, come in a smaller bag that doesn't let them get broken up, have nearly as many skins as the Cod skins for $20 less per bag, and it takes them longer to chew because they're softer and seem to be more chewy. They're flat and not twisted like the Cod skins. The negative is that they are more fishy smelling than the cod skins. Probably the dogs enjoy the fragrance and it's really no problem as you just leave the bag sealed. I shared one with another doodle, and he loved it, too. I love they are from the USA.

Our four-year-old loved this product, I mean he was obsessed with getting his fish treats every day. We had to cut them off for a while I will be buying some more. It doesn’t make a mess but if yours is anything like mine and they will clean up the crumbs because they love it so much. Our puppy likes it too but it gets a little hard for her to eat with her tiny teeth However she loves it not as much as our four-year-old but enough to sit for a long time and work with it.. I love that it’s completely healthy nothing bad and it makes me happy that I can give them some thing that extends their life instead of treats that could possibly kill them like rawhide..

My dog is prone to pancreatitis & therefore can't have any high fat. These fish sticks are low fat but still give her essential oils she is missing. She loves them! She gets one stick a day. They give her the crunchy sensation. Beware their breath will be a bit fishy for a little while after eating, but it's worth it. The fish sticks are so good for her. Her skin & coat are perfect.

My dog loves these! They have a very strong fish smell to them, so beware! But my pup really enjoys them
